I happened to be tailgating an eMas test mule a week ago and I share the same observation and concern. Car was too pillowy to undulations on a highway and the tires were strikingly too skinny for its mass.

Damn I love your reviews and disappointed you have such few subscribers. I've subscribed twice now with both my accounts. However you didn't touch on the DC and AC charging speeds. I believe it's approx 100KW maximum charging speed however must of the competition is around this level or lower. This number is too low on 2025 and the first company that increases this speed will have a huge advantage over the competition. 150KW charging speed should be normal today in 2025.
Hola. Lo de la peligrosidad a más de 70 km/h es muy raro. Vi un video del geely e5 en la prueba del alce y la pasó bien a 78 km/h y las reacciones se veían buenas
If it had a frunk, I'd say that you could probably fasten down two boxes of pennies, or a bag of sand, and the front drive would be better. Mind you, the tire wear on the front would also be quicker.

I was excited for this car to come to Indonesia, but now I'm a bit hesitant, because Traction Control is very important here and there are a lot of holes and uneven pavement. Does it have Traction Control from your observation and would it handle bad roads including bumpy roads and holes with ease? Another thing is how would it handle with flooded or high water roads, because I saw it looks a bit flimsy on the bottom and not sure how it would do going through water after heavy rain. By the way, is the DC fast charging already CCS2 or still GBT? How is the seat comfort for you? Is it quite soft on the back and bottom? For me a lot of cars are a bit hard on the shoulder blades and the neck and shoulders hurt easily. For example the Wuling Cloud EV (in China I think its called Jinguo Cloud) has very comfortable seats and is soft.

Cómo se compara la calidad de materiales y durabilidad de éstos en el geely e5 con el xpeng g6? Parece que los del xpeng g6 sean muy superiores. Otro coche muy interesante es el onvo l60, éste parece ser supeior al g6 en bastantes cosas
@@chjin1796 yes. It is. But I'd like to Know I what the quality of the materials of the E5 is like and what difference there is approximately compared to these two cars mentioned.
@franciscol28 Although the material quality is not top-notch, it is in line with the price. These two more expensive cars have more power, larger batteries, and more comfort features. Product quality need more time to tell.I have been driving the E5 for a month and there are no major problems so far.

I agree, I am just talking about my personal feelings of handling. Probably on paper it is Ok car without anything dangerous.
You drove the car with 1 hand. Occasionally with both hand off the steering. So the handling is enough for me.
Well I can drive even 60 years old van with one hand :))))
Funny there is another video on Geely E5 titled "This is the best handling SUV I've ever driven" so safe to say don't believe just one opinion...

Frunk is perfect for such things which you use rarele - like tire repair kit, small charger or some windshield washing liquid

This car is very soft and the ESP system pretends to be super modern and great. Chinese domestic
market cars only GBT ports

Why is it better? high grade Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries are super good, all BYD use exceptionally lithium iron phospate
