What a well thought out unit!👍
I agree! We have really enjoyed it so far. Thanks for the comment and watching!
@@ColoradoCamperman Hello, we are Acoucou Battery. Noticed that you haven't updated for a long time and would like to ask you how you are doing lately, we would like to invite you to test unbox our LiFePO4 battery ~ looking forward to your reply.
I GOT THAT SAME STANELY ADJUSTABLE WRENCH HANGIN OUT ON THE WALL LMAO THAT IS A GOOD ASS WRENCH ...LOL
Lol, it's a good lil wrench!
Nice job god bless
Thanks for the comment and watching!
This looks VERY much like the 80qt NewAir I bought awhile back and had to return to Amazon bc the temperatures wouldn’t stay set. Hmmm…I’m on the wall about this one worrying it ‘might have’ either been built by or exactly copied from NewAir. Thanks for sharing, Brian! ~Jim~
It's worked great for us so far. But we've really only used it on maybe half a dozen of trips. Thanks for the comment and watching!
@@ColoradoCamperman 👍😎😁
VEVOR AND NEWAIRE are from te same company, probably this one too !!
Thanks for the video. This past week I bought the same but I’m the 45 quart size. Love it and it froze 1/2 cup of water in 1 hour. Only thing I noticed is that the lights that illuminate when you open the lids stay on even when the lids are closed. Is this the case with yours? I noted that on the online literature it states the lights are automatic and turn on when you open the lid.
You're welcome! Glad to hear it is working out. My lights go off when the lid shuts. Sounds like the light switch on yours may not be working.
Thanks for the feedback. Reached out to customer service and they asked me to do a magnet test as that’s how the lights come on and off or the lights it self could be defective as per their customer service. Doing the test tomorrow, but either way they told me they would send the replacement parts with detailed PDF instructions on how to make the repair. So far their customer service of pretty good. 3:20
A cutting board? What it needed was the wire basket inserts.
Baskets would be a nice addition. Although, I have used the cutting board. Thanks for watching.
Can you remove those slides mounted on the side and the brackets that hold them on for that extendable handle? That looks like it takes up a lot more space and I would be using this in a small hatchback car.
Yes you can remove those. They have 4 screws per section. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
how cool does it get after 1 hour?
sometimes i want to buy ice cream at grocery store, but the ride back is 30 minutes and 105 degrees in texas so my ice cream is pretty much melted by the time i get home.
After one hours it will be below freezing. We used it last weekend for a one night trip. We plugged it into an AC outlet while we were packing, within 20 minutes one chamber was down to 36 degrees and the other was down to 40 degrees. The fridge started out around 85 degrees. The fridge would work out great for that. You could plug it into your 12 volt adapter in your vehicle and have it cooling while you drive to the store and back home. It's a great fridge, we have really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Hello thank you so much for this review! Ive been looking for one and decided on this one. I clicked your link and its not the 56qt like yours its the 45qt. Do you have the link for the one on your video because i cant find it anywhere on amazon
They are currently sold out of the 54 quart on Amazon and even on their website. I am going to email the company to see if they will be getting more inventory soon or if they have discontinued this model.
@@ColoradoCamperman thank you so much for replying! Please let me know what they say
@@bosslady8091 Still haven't heard anything.
Does it charge? And if so how long does it hold a charge/hold the temp (if it doesnt) when it is off power?
Good question, I didn't test that. On a few trips, my power station died and the fridge was off for 30-60 minutes. It seemed to hold it's temp for at least that long.
I got the 64l of this one because it didnt have the Bluetooth or wifi i didnt want any of that.
Nice but unfortunately it is 1" too tall to fit into my RV 5th Wheel pass-thru storage are. : (
Oh man, sorry to hear that! It's a nice fridge.
the 45qt version is 3" shorter if that's the issue!
Does it have a battery or does it always have to be plugged in
It has to be plugged into a 12 volt or 120 volt source.
Your description says 56 QT model but Amazon link is to 54 QT. Are they the same thing?
Maybe they changed it to 54 QT. It's been a while since I uploaded the video. Mine is 56 QTs.
Looking for something with a little more space...looks small inside.
It's pretty big. I could have done a better job at showing the inside of the cooler and also showed what we had in there on our trips. They also have a 64 quart dual zone that they offered me, but I actually turned them down because I thought it was too big (it was a little taller and wouldn't fit under the Moonlander bed). They have a 58 quart cooler that is actually physically smaller than this one, but it is 4 quarts bigger. They are able to accomplish this because it is not a dual zone. It is also about $130 cheaper. Thanks for watching!
Google says it's ~30 quarts per cubic foot. Now you (me) can compare refrigerator sizes in familiar terms. This item holds 54 quarts, or a little under 2 cubic feet. Google says you can put about 25 pounds of meat per cubic foot. I hope this makes comparison a little easier. It does for me.
i only store sour cream lettuce salsa and cheese. for taco salad. and eggs sometimes for omelettes or egg sandwiches.
i dont need freezer. so do they well one that is 100 percent fridge. without freezer.
Yes, they have larger units that are one zone only.
Can't you turn up the temp on the freezer?
@@thedoorguycharlie Yes
Pretty sure the door is not for course but it's for a battery period I'm looking on how to adjust the temperature minds a piece of c*** And it changed on its own the freezer's cooling and the refrigerator's freezing
Huh, I didn't know there was a battery for the fridge. Hopefully you get yours figured out. Thanks for watching.
How about compressor to compressor fridge
Sorry, I'm not familiar with those. Is there a particular brand or model you're talking about?
Are the doors insulated?
I'm not sure. It's hard to tell. I did the knock test on the doors and they kind of felt hollow. There might be a small amount of foam in them.
@@ColoradoCamperman ok thanks
Why not a useful real world test like sitting out side when it’s 80-90 degs out?
Good idea, I'll consider that for the next video. Thanks for watching.
the 64 qt has baskets. dont need bluetooth.
Thanks for watching.
Working 💪 or Knot
Still working great!
Can you fit a champagne bottle in there?
Yes, in the 54 quart I believe you could. My wife drinks wine and you can fit a wine bottle in there. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
RV manufacturers take note. Freezing with gas while driving is dangerous.
Yeah, the 12 volt fridge/freezer is a much safer option.
@@ColoradoCamperman They should have switched over 20 years ago. Now, the Communist Chinese will dominate these types of refrigerator/freezers.
No wire baskets , and no bluetooth phone control
No and no. The controls on the fridge are easy to operate. Personally I hate how everything is controlled by your phone. Too many apps to keep track of! Thanks for watching.
I'm not sure why you would need Bluetooth there's buttons on the side of it
OMG ! Whats this world coming to. Lmbo!
@@avenger2.099 A lot of people like the ability to check everything (fridge, water, solar, detectors etc etc) from their phone so they can monitor everything easily, instead of walking around checking everything individually.
Hmm... looking for something that fits behind the backseat of a normal car
They make some smaller sizes. The dual zone is pretty nice though.
It's nice BUT 400 bucks! I mean, C'mon, man...
Unless you go with a smaller size, unfortunately, most dual zone fridges are that price. Thanks for watching.
I just got the 53qt one for 256 dollars on ebay.
You skip the most important part of the video and that is showing how to set the temperature 🤷🏽
There is a sticker right next to the controls that explains how to do that. Therefore I did not feel the need to me to waste time in the video reading a sticker with instructions. Thanks for watching.
@@ColoradoCamperman Well, I didn’t see or hear you indicate that.. but if you are going to show something please show as much as possible to help people such as myself who can learn from watching , my comprehension skills are poor.. Thanks 😊
@JustMe-pu3xm Will do, thanks for the feedback.
