I visited Grace Cathedral back in 1999 and I wish I was there in 2007 to see this amazing and awe-inspiring concert. Steve, you are incredible.

Hello me from 13 years ago. I could not for the life of me remember where Steve Roach performed but after some youtube archeology, I have finally found you after all this time. See you in the future my friend.

Grace Cathedral has for decades been one of the most eclectic, progressive spiritual places on earth. In addition to this great space at the top of Nob Hill in San Francisco, there is a sense of deep peace in this church I haven't felt elsewhere. Its openness is I believe one reason why.

True creation with sound and light
The experience is non-verbal but powerfully
    emotive. thank you.

I went to his concert in in the church sanctuary of St. Mary's Hamilton Village located in West Philadelphia. The concert was a part of the Gatherings concert series featuring innovative musicians. It was one of the most spectacular shows that I have ever seen. Steve gave a live performance juggling with synthesizers as a magician.

Thanks for this post. The perfect environment for this piece. I have played similar Steve Roach pieces for weeks at a time,,, constant, unbroken, uninterrupted 24/7, it helped me prepare for the passing of someone very close to me!

beautifully stated...you seem to grasp a meaning that had not been there in the original filming...Steve's work never fails to transport the listener to other worlds, soundworlds
emanating a bounteousness that exudes a harmony a peace, a resolve to life's tribulations...like a soothing balm for the soul

You are definitely right on the beam with your comments. I regularly stopped in at Grace to walk the Labyrinth at the end of my workday. The experience of that space always brought me great comfort, clarity and strength. My atheist co-workers would badger me with "Are you holy now?" That was always good for a laugh. The Cathedral is a very special place. I highly encourage anyone who can to attend the Friday evening Labyrinth Walks. They are sublime aesthetic events.

During a transitional period in my life last year I walked the labyrinth inside Grace Cathedral. I'd leave my office job every day and trot over to Nob Hill to surrender to "The Path."
Each day I became more like a mountain, more like a cloud. Now I've found this video and it gives me great insight into what I gained from my daily exercise in that beautiful heavenly realm. This is euphoria beautifully captured in a sonic experience. Thank you for posting Lee Howard's film, Dr. Leonus!

Esta música tiene raices de la cultura hispanica primordial de america central y norte, donde los españoles fundaron los primeros monasterios, iglesias, misiones catolicas (cristianas en america). Saludos del Reyno de España.
