Hi there. I have some good CLASSIC HS suggestions for next tutorials such as : 1. Classic hardstyle lead (08, 09 by Showtek, Noisecontrollers, Donkey Rollers from scratch) 2. Classic reverse bass (from that period also, with the kick and bassline from scratch, for instance 'Just Say My Name by Hhz, 'Black' by Showtek) 3. Classic hardstyle kick (07, 08, 09 year from scratch) 4. Vocal chopping in 1/3 and 1/4 tempo like old Project One, Hhz, Wildstylez from classic time (for instance ' Fanatasy or Reality', 'Life Beyond Earth, 'Down With Hs - Credible Mix') 5. Classic hs kick fxs, tips and tricks It would be really cool to unite it as a Classic hs chapter and relase it when you catch the time. Thanks in advance!
How do you do the trick at 16:56? I have always difficulties in aligning the kicks behind eachother to make it sound coherent, they always blend in eachother or the tail interferes with other tails when put behind eachother...
My man, I might give you salvation, if you haven't found out yet till today. You probaly also draw notes in the piano roll i guess? Because then the whole sample is going to be played till the end. To counter this, you just right click in your tree on the sample. Then press ''cut by itself''. Also for some samples you might want to go into the setting, by (I believe) press in the left upper part of the sampler on the 'wrench' and then pull sustain etc. all the way to the left. THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE IF YOU LOAD IT IN A SAMPLER! Also no idea how this works in other DAW's but this is your solution I guess! Hope we can all learn something from eachother. I bet my answer will save lots of time from other people that read through this haha

Now we kinda need a showing for the cleaner tailed gated kicks. Come to think of it, can the crunchy kicks like the one in this tutorial really be called "gated kicks"? For me personally, when I think of gated kicks I think of old school kicks like the first kick of Silver Bullet by Donkey Rollers, or for more modern sounds, kicks like the ones in the track "The Underworld" by Phantom & Chapter V.
It's just a big basket of a bunch of Styles of Kicks. You have the old-school stuff, the modern ones (Gearbox), and then the old-school Gearbox as well... The production process for all of them is really similar to the one in this video though, so get creative! 😉 We might drop a tutorial for the old-school clean ones sometime soon though.
Is there a stock plug-in like ozone? Or a stock way to make the bass mono instead of having 2 renders of the same kick (one for bass and the other for mids and highs)
These are great tutorials but you have this style of going too fast. Im having hard time to learn anything or even comprehend what did you do sometimes when you just go full brainstorm moment and click about 10 stuff at the same time and do fast changes and just dont mention why did you do this. Otherwise this stuff is great.

Use Fruity Maximus. It has a split into low, mid and high frequencies and you can turn the mid/side knob all the way up to make your low mono :)

I’d say make sure the phunch is in the same key as your song (and also the reverb), and you’ll be generally fine 🙌
