    Nice quality. I have watched many videos about this topic, and your video feels very complete, especially with the disclaimers at the end.

      look in your potted plants under the inner pot, most people have springtails there, wehre its warm, wet, and often moldy

    Beautiful and informative. I can't seem to keep springtails alive. I do better with isopods with bigger terrariums but they don't do so well in smaller ones. Thanks Sushanto.

      Just keep some springtails in a breeding container as shown in the video, and regularly resead your terrariums as needed.
      I sadly lost the springtails, that came with my potting soil, so I will actively breed them now too.

    Very useful video.Thank you for sharing. If I plan to add isopods in a gallon container, hoe many should I add to start with,and are there any steps I need to take to disinfect them?

    Somehow maintaining algae is much easier in an aquascape lol.. I must try a better mix for my substrate. is less organic better for terarium? I must build open container since I live in hot climate

    do you think baking foraged wood in the oven (250F/120C) for a few hours would be as efficient as boiling it to make it terrarium safe ?

    Sempre semplici ma così belli da vedere i tuoi video ❤️ una domanda:nel caso ci sia troppa condensa nel terrario,per quanto tempo va tenuto aperto? (Come si fa a capire quando è evaporata abbastanza acqua) grazie mille e come sempre grazie delle tue ispirazioni 😃

    Hi,
    I recently made two tic-tac terrariums without springtails and used plants from same propagation box, soil that was stored in same container, wood pieces broken from the same driftwood and are kept under the same light but one of my terrariums is very clean and does not have any mold in it and the other has a lot of mold growing on the driftwood even though I cleaned it several times. Can you please tell me a way of preventing the mold growth on the wood?

      BTW can you tell me an easy way to catch enough springtails to start a culture so that i can try adding some springtails to it?

      @TheUrbanNemophilist  Рік тому +1

      Need to see pics to understand severity and mold type. Mold can grow inspite of taking all precautions. You will need to brush it off. In many cases they disappear on their own too.

      Nematodes probably. Remove manually with a soft brush dipped in water from glass walls.
