The magpie paintings you have are Australian Mag Pies, this variety of bird is from around Victoria, They have different markings, just depending on what state they are from.

We have magpies here in Alberta Canada and we really dislike them. I mean not everyone but the majority do. They are aggressive and loud. Thank you for sharing and I hope you get some sleep💗
That doesn't surprise me, crows and ravens are also not quite birds and the grudges they hold wow. I still love them but I own a bird that 40% the time wants to bite my fingers off (and I swear he would), the other 50% the time he's making my ears ring lmao. 10% of the time he want's all the pets he can get (some times also while trying to take a finger off). He's my sweet little baby boy all the same. lol Id love to own one but I'm most likely never been in a place where I could and give it the amount of mental and physical stimulant it would need not that my gray is far off from that.
