The attack and getting goals is an obvious problem for Spurs at the moment. I like Romero, he's a very good defender when he's at it, however he is costing us important goals if you look at it closely, he simply can't concentrate for the whole game and is getting caught out way too often. Against Leicester he ran past Vardy to go and mark empty space and left him free at the back post for the header and their equaliser. In the Newcastle game he's the deepest defender and the one who is goal side that should be marking and tracking the run through from Jacob Murphy who lays it on a plate for Isak. Today he gets pushed out of position too easily, so is nowhere to be found giving Gabriel a free header.

The guy is a quality player and a fantastic playmaker, his form really has people disrespecting him. Not sure if the dropping deep is instructions but it needs to stop. Thoughts? Sorry if this is so long, just rate the guy highly and he himself needs to take a look at himself! I still have faith in him.
@@hakunamatata6675 I think he’s doing it cos we aren’t finding him well/consistently enough in the pockets but yes I don’t think his form in 2024 has been good. However I don’t believe he was bad v arsenal. He was ok and tried things but it’s hard against that block yet he’s too good to just have a meedi game. Tobs Ange cant make Our wingers better,Ange gets us in good postions up the pitch but once there its on the players to score. Johnson and Son on the wings are not the answer. Look at Ange at Celtics he had wingers who would scire and kill the game Kyogo and Jota. We cant ignore that. Its not overly complicated. He wants to score a lot and we cant score.

The attack and getting goals is an obvious problem for Spurs at the moment. I like Romero, he's a very good defender when he's at it, however he is costing us important goals if you look at it closely, he simply can't concentrate for the whole game and is getting caught out way too often. Against Leicester he ran past Vardy to go and mark empty space and left him free at the back post for the header and their equaliser. In the Newcastle game he's the deepest defender and the one who is goal side that should be marking and tracking the run through from Jacob Murphy who lays it on a plate for Isak. Today he gets pushed out of position too easily, so is nowhere to be found giving Gabriel a free header.
@@dmacca777 agree with most of this. I thought today he was good but again, momentary lapse from him and bang. That’s the diff between a quality good CB vs an elite one (which he isn’t)

I’m a city fan but I’m sick and tired that there is no pressure externally for Tottenham. Internally by the fans of course they want to win trophies, but under Ange you have spent maybe £200m+ or around that. You MUST win a trophy this season the same rhetoric was thrown to us with the UCL as we spent money same with Chelsea under Roman and I’m still saying now Chelsea must win the league and or a trophy with the amount of money they spent. Tottenham MUST win a trophy you get let off to light with expectations despite spending money.
