Freddie wrote this song...he talked about how it took him 10 minutes to write sitting in his bath...he said that he only used the three chords that he knew..that’s the real truth about this song...people sometimes have flights of fancy about Queen..inventing stuff as they go along...check this story out....ask Google🤩
Wow 🥰 beautiful sweet Freddie ❤️ thanks for another wonderful reaction Clifford 😘 Freddie Mercury is simply unique 🤩 One of my favorite Freddie songs is My melancholy blues, I think there is a live performance 1977 in Texas If you want to react to it 😜
Thanks for taking my recommendation! Your reaction is great! The reason I recommended Montreal 1981 is that I was there! I already loved the early (mid -1970s) works by Queen by then...this concert made me a lifelong fan...40+ years ago! The songs I remember vividly from this concert are "Save Me" (where Freddie and Brian take turns playing the piano), "Play the Game" and the debut of "Under Pressure" which they had not performed before..first time hearing John's bass riff which is now legendary. I don't know if you have already reacted to "Bohemian Rhapsody" but the live performance at this concert was just amazing...everyone was going CRAZY!! But the same is true of that song when they performed it LIVE at Milton Keynes 1982. By the way, the opening of Milton Keynes is really fun to see - it includes "Hero and We Will Rock You" (the fast version which is my favorite). Have fun on your Queen journey!!
SUGGESTIONS from this same 1981 Montreal show… “ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST” “BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY” Also… “WE WILL ROCK YOU” PLAYED BACK-TO-BACK WITH “WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS” (I think these are the BEST live versions of these songs, just my opinion.🥰)
Freddie’s tribute to Elvis who died in 1977. The song was released in 1979. “ .. took me 5 or 10 minutes. I did that on guitar, which I can’t play for nuts, and in one way it was quite a good thing because I was restricted, knowing only a few chords. It’s a good discipline because I simply had to write within a small framework. I couldn’t work thru too many chords & because of that restriction I wrote a good song, I think.” - Freddie Mercury
HEYYY HON, THANKS for another GREAT Queen reaction!! I love this version, it’s so “SASSY” (The whole show is “sassy”!) …Freddie was FRUSTRATED during this whole concert because the interfering film production company/crew had ordered the audience to STAY IN THEIR SEATS and KEEP QUIET… Which was the OPPOSITE of what Freddie & the band wanted, of course, Fred always wanted the crowd to join in and MAKE NOISE. (He was in such a bad mood during filming because of this, that visitors were “banned” from the band’s dressing room!) So, he’s frustrated at the beginning of this song and it shows.😄 (They actually shortened this performance of the song a little… Usually, Brian’s solo playing would last a bit longer while Fred got the crowd clapping along.)
Love the shot of the three guitars, Freddie, Brian and John all playing together.
Love live Queen.

Maravilhosos os quatros. Sempre Queen, uma lenda amada e querida 💕 saudoso Freddie Mercury vivi em nossos corações! Inigualáveis!!!!!
Love this live version, Freddie is the best, I hope he knows up there how much he has influenced music.
Best band ever
Probably the BEST "garage band" of ALL TIME. Live they are just spell binding.
You can't go wrong with the Montreal vids.
