Played this twice today for the first time before watching this video. We had confusion over taking our first card from the deck and not the row (which went back to rule book and see in the example is how this video depicts it). Also we had confusion over the satellite cards, and thought they could only be used in the telescope to "bridge" a type across without having the same type adjacent. One other confused part was playing the telescope AND the notebook in the same turn, where NOW that makes more sense how we would be able to tell when 11 rounds is played. We were not all finished with our telescopes at the same time, so we continued the game (drawing from the deck by mistake) until we completed the telescopes. I think that third time we play we will get it!

Glad my video helped , but you might also want to check out Renegades official rules School that I produced - ua-cam.com/video/Pdf6atvnSAw/v-deo.html

One thing you forgot to mention is that if you take a satellite card into your hand your opponent can choose to clear the 5 cards displayed at the beginning of their turn..still a great and very helpful tutorial

That is true, but this is just a high level overview, I'm sure I covered this in the official Rules School for the game! ua-cam.com/video/Pdf6atvnSAw/v-deo.html

Is there any reason to ever put a satellite card that has a value of one or two face up in your telescope? It seems like you should always put it face down to get three points to help count towards your majority. I’m still trying to understand if you choose to put a face down or only if you don’t have an option to do that.

Sorry, the last part of my comment probably didn’t make any sense? I’m wondering if you can always choose to put a card face down in your telescope no matter what?

Wonder what the replay ability is. Would you play this after 6 times

Yes the way the cards come out and watching your opponent is a big puzzle each time.

Seems like there are a LOT of rules/things to remember...

The flow is a bit tricky, but that's what makes this game unique! Plus once you've played once or twice, it's like 2nd nature, and the player aid cards help a lot to follow the flow for your first game or two!
