Spent alot of time in the early 80s riding prison camp area with my dad. At one point when I was about 14 I had a RM100 that I made the top of the easy side several times. Forget the hard side on a small bike! My next bike was a RM250 and I'm not sure that one ever actually made the easy side but then memories fade. Definitely saddens me to see what it looks like now....
My dad and I accidentally came down the "easy" side of the back to back. It is just as mean as the hill climb. We are experienced riders but by no means professionals. We came down it with engines off. only brakes and compression kept us alive. We both flipped the bike ass over tea kettle at one point. This climb is no joke on either side of the road.
where you shaking when you tried going up it? because i sure was! if i didnt watch videos of people making it to the top id say its pretty close to impossible
The video doesnt do justice on how big this hill is. There is a rock ledge where i crashed which makes it worse cuz you have to back out of it half way up.
At first from a spectators view and onboard view it looked steep but not that much, then when you fell of and got a shot of the hill sideways, I was like damn that looks hella steep, and it probably is much more in person. These camera's never really show just how steep these type of hill climbs are.
I made it two feet from the top with a kx 250 buddy was on a cr 500, at the top.Sucks how such a nice hill climb is crap now. Safe travels all...
Nice video, that hill going up into the trees on the 2:15 side looked pretty gnarly.

@fmxfreak177 There is a guy on UA-cam that actualy measured it last year and came up with a 69 deg slope. I think pro hill climbs are around mid 70's
The end is awesome
