    no down payment is dangerous but sometimes it is what it is.

      Dangerous? Buying a home is a huge purchase. All options should be weighed.

    Wouldn’t you want to pay a down payment? 🤔Yes, you may save money in the short term by not having a down payment BUT now you still have PMI and MORE interest to pay in the long term💭

      You’d want to if you can afford to and it makes sense to do so. However, VA loans charge an upfront funding fee and there is no PMI/MIP. The average home price in Maryland is around $450k and buyers would have to put down 90k to avoid those charges. Not including closing cost. Most first time homebuyers don’t have this type of savings. However, many homeowners that have owned their homes for at least 4 years may have that in equity alone.
