Seen him and his band in a small venue in Tuckerton N.J. in April. 70 people! Paid 38.00 per ticket. I saw this incredible talent up close and personal Quinn Sullivan is amazing and a genuine Gentleman. He played Derek and the Dominoes Got to get better In a Little While. I saw that show at the Fillmore East in 1970. Here I am at 72 watching this young man kill it. I walked up to him and said in all honesty,You played it better than Eric and I was there. He just looked at me. I wasn’t kidding. This young Man is a must see for anyone who loves music. 38.00 for a 350.00 seat. Yes!
he did the entire lead within the context of the melody. it seemed at times that he would venture out to far and not be able to return to the overall musical theme , but just when we thought that might happen it didn't and was back into that tigh frame of notes . really incredible .
A friend of mine even more into this kind of music has stated: The messiah has returned!
Darels House is from the band Hall and Oates .look it up 😊
Late comment. There must be a reason he was on stage with BB King, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Bonamassa, Santana and of coz his mentor Buddy Guy. This Kid was called by BB King the greatest guitar talent of the past 40 years. Red Rocks, Claptons Crossroad Festival, Madison Square Garden, Montreux Jazz Festival he saw it all. Quinn is a blues guitar player of the highest order and his manager and normal drummer is a grammy winner ! You should check out the older stuff like "Buddys Blues" from Gathering of the Vibes 2009 or Red Rock with Buddy Guy when he played Clapton and Jimmy Hendrix at the age of 11 or 12. It will knock your socks off !
started at a very young age and played blues mainly
Not sure Quinn will make it big, but he’s got big time talent. As much as I enjoy his guitar playing, I think I like his voice more.
You guys have got to react to Stevie Ray Vaughan -Texas Flood(LIVE THE EL MOCAMBO).
Quinn’s new cover of Harry Styles is a must to check out. You can find it on UA-cam
Yeah he's got four albums out he released his first album he was only 11 years old supposedly started playing the guitar when he was three
Similar to Joe Bonamassa, Quinn Sullivan was a child prodigy from the age of 3, was mentored by Buddy Guy since the age of about 8, and was sharing the stage with BB King and Carlos Santana soon thereafter. I recently saw QS live in Washington DC in February when he opened for Beth Hart during a portion of her USA Thankful Tour in early 2022. He played a 30 minute, 6 to 7 song set with set with mandolin player Chris Bloniarz. In spite of his experience with big stars, he was definitely a little tentative and inexperienced in terms of stage presence, but I think he's too good not to get there. (Opening for Beth Hart can't be easy). Regardless of your talent, and in spite of the access UA-cam offers, it is extremely difficult to build a solo career in the music business.
By the Way the place in Tuckerton is called Lizzie’s great place so intimate
