@ Sheik Akewugbagold... I do love you sir. Try to resolve this issue underground as best as you could and if possible, try to avoid anything that can bring up this issue again. This include public speeches that may call for response.
The issue here is that when we have two people claiming rights, at most times, one person needs to let go in order for peace to reign else, this may continue to drag longer than it should.
It's a difficult thing to keep silent when you listen to people slandering about you but their are ways to resolve this and you know.
Call him one on one, tell him you don't want the issue to drag longer because of what people can say about Islamic leaders. If possible, tell him to let the matter die down and you will also not talk about it again. I believe you understand me better sir.

I like your thought but northern Nigeria is never a good example when we are talking about peace....Truth must be told, Islam is a violence religion but you as a Yoruba person is a good, peaceful and lovely man....The reason why those fanatics Muslim hate you is because you are not practicing the true Islam which is violence. Well alhj Akewugbagold, you are trying. I appreciate you. May God enlighten and preserve you more and more. However until you Muslims acknowledge that the secular law/constitution is above the law/doctrines and sentiments of any religion in the land, you will continue to misinterpret, misjudge and misbehave to issues and creating problems where there should be none as you are doing on Iseyin's pastor vs alfas case. Anyone can be arrested/invited by the law anywhere, anytime for peace and justice to reign. Injustice only comes in when fair hearing and truth is suppressed/manipulated. Nobody should see himself or anyone else as greater than the other before the law. You are still warning Taniolorun and others to stop attacking Islam/Muslims or else you too will join the fight again ! but you could not prevail on your own fellow muslims who started it against all other religions to stop it. If you cannot do that, and yet expecting others to stop it, then you are still sentimental and unjust. It is either they stop it for others to stop it also, or we all learn to accommodate and swallow it peacefully. The bullying of Islam against humanity and other religions is expiring fast all over the world. It is surely outdated. So, take it or leave it my brother, the problem is with your religion itself. It makes the muslims what they are today. It just turns once normal, loving, peaceful accommodating humans/ "omoluwabis" to hating, intolerant, delusional and heartless beings. Take out Islam from them, I bet you they will become wonderful and accommodating human beings. Your fair position today is not the product of Islam (as you and some others may think) but your good/moral upbringing as a typical yoruba son, your literal/western education, exposure and determination not to allow your religion to take those virtues away from you, while you are striving to still defend Islam. My kudos go to your parents and all whose impact formed your moral background. Yet that element/spirit of 'Islam' (as a religion) rooted in you is still prevailing in and on you occasionally. What a wonderful person you would have been to humanity without this religion ! The same condition happen to alhj Oriyomi Amsat and a host of others. A good religion should rather buttress our moral background of love, peace, respect and fairness to our fellow humans irrespective of their faith, rather than the opposite. We keep praying for you.

Dear brother, @olaideafolabi, don't call your fellow Muslim brother an hypocrite. He might have made some mistakes but nobody's perfect. The best you can do is to pray for him and if possible, try to advise him if you have the chance to.
