I have said the same thing about the whole “I was forced to marry you so now I’m going to make you the villian and treat you like crap for years” storyline is so beyond ridiculous. You can’t have a character be portrayed as the most powerful and ruthless CEO but then also want us to belief that he can be forced to marry someone he doesn’t want to be with. I have a LITTLE bit of tolerance for the ones who marry and then either disappear or don’t touch the wife or live with them vs the ones who want to have their cake and eat it to. They constantly throw in the woman’s face that they were forced or tricked into marrying them but still they continue to want the benefits of being married. THOSE are the ones that really burn my azz 😂

I've seen a few different versions of this story and enjoyed a couple of them and this one will go on the list as one I liked because of the leads and their chemistry. FL was not just beautiful but smart and kind too but she didn't suffer fools gladly and was very firm in her dislike of the ML her absent (ex) husband. For his part he was the typical workaholic CEO who had no time for relationships and it was purely timing that he got married to Ms. LIng as opposed to Ms. Su because her brother was his saviour. He didn't know it but he dodged a bullet there. With over a billion people in China I'm sure there are not only people with the same names but even people that look similar and this is always the trouble they never remember the name or what their spouse looks like but the writing and acting in this one were believable. You could see the pain on FL's face when she told him that he was exactly that irresponsible husband and he didn't hear what she was telling him or the frustration on ML's face when he was trying to protect her from Mr. Shen. Shoutout to the actors that played her Nana, best friend, her big brother, the bad guy (Mr. Shen I have seen playing the assistant in several dramas and always thought he would make a good ML but I guess he has to pay his dues as a scumbag first) and even the actress that played Ms. Su (she didn't do the annoying whiny voice too often). Well written, acted and produced and the editing was very good too. Worth a rewatch and recommend.👏
That’s because they have a very, very shallow and superficial idea of what love is. in these stories, the male lead randomly thinks that he loves a woman because of some childhood connection, or she supposedly saved him. He’s not actually in love with the woman as a person, because he doesn’t know her. He has convinced himself that he’s in love for absolutely no reason. Meanwhile, the woman he’s actually married to, who he should actually get to know- he never shows love, trust, or respect. But later he wants us to somehow believe that he has always loved her. 😂😂😂 what an absolutely ridiculous thing to say.
Ummm no… this was not it for me. Let me give you guys a run down before you watch. He doesn’t find out till the very last minute of this show and get amnesia. And they she easily forgives him is what it seems like it is implying. This man ignored his wife for 3 years, admits being a terrible husband and still says the woman is not worth him without even talking to her once. This ML was really not it for me. I just felt pissed every time he spoke. I’ve seen him play good roles but this one was just not it for me.
Thanks. I have learned to skip the dramas where the male lead never has a redemption arc, never learns or grows, never apologizes or begs forgiveness and still gets an unearned and undeserved “happy ending”. It she had walked away from him and never looked back I would be happy. OR if they had bothered to show him with true remorse, working hard to show that he had changed, putting her wants and needs above his own selfish and shallow ones, maybe then it would be a happy ending- if he EARNED it.
Doesn’t matter how many times this C-🎭 is remade it never has any logic😳. The FL should never return to the ML at the end because if the ML couldn’t be bothered once to have a sit down meeting before the divorce after keeping her on “ICE” for three years, why bother with his foolishness after he finds out you’re his wife in name only🤔 All C-🎭🎭🎭are predicable. If one of the leads asks for a divorce/separation at the beginning, they’ll get back together at the end and it doesn’t matter what happened in between😳
Oh! It's him again. I've seen I think 4-5 of his dramas? He's a great actor. Can play as jerk very well and in the end becomes a love stricken puppy.😅 Can play as villain very well, and as a ML, you will hate and love him at the same time.
I don’t think shorts like this are meant to be clever or realistic. All the plots I have seen so far are dumb. It’s meant to be entertaining in a low brow kind of way. But knowing it’s not realistic and not meant to be taken seriously doesn’t lessen the grating feeling I see the way they treat female characters in all of these dramas. In summary, they’re like a doormat, an object even. Going weak at the knees being manhandled like a rag.

Great movie! I love it! Great lessons of life! People have to grow up and make up for their past mistakes! Asking for Forgiveness is also a sign of maturity. Giving forgiveness when needed is also a sign of maturity. Humans make mistakes and need to forgive and to be forgiven. That's a power that creates miracles and saves many things and many lives!
Business attire are beautiful for the FL but the yellow and white evening gown is ugly. They need to do better for evening gowns for the auction section.
This is the 2nd time of this storyline in which the ML had to truly fight to win the FL so not disappointed with the ending. I can understand it. Love both actors

Interesting story line. ML and FL quite good chemistry and bring their characters well. Antagonist characters well done. Rest of the team done well. Entertaining.😊
Why on earth did she go back to him ??🙄 Why is there no ending where she leaves him high and dry aand with self dignity ? And why is it in all these dramas, the ML has a sexy friend or sexy "sister" hanging at his arm like a possessive puppy? Are rich Chinese couple act like that in real life ? I think, this version is the fifth drama I watched with a similar plot. There were a few differences like their divorce happened earlier in the beginning of the drama and the ex-wife met the ex-husband earlier but her ex-husband did know who his ex-wife was. I like this drama better. The husband divorced his wife without knowing who she was or what kind of person she was. Then her ex-husband, Mr. Qin, starts having feelings for Ms. Anny. This is good revenge for Anny to her scumbag husband pretending she is with her boyfriend but actually, she is with her brother. LOL! Sweet revenge. 😂😂😂 This is a good drama, the actor and actress roles are believable. The English translations are good. Du Yafei and Li Ruoqi are among the few stars I like to watch. I totally enjoy this drama. ❤❤❤
This FL is very pretty and I have enjoyed most of the dramas I have watched with her in them. But I swear, they all wear their hair the same, makeup the same, clothes the same, talk the same, same facial features as if they went to the dr with the same photo 😂…..when I DO come across an actress that has a interesting look it’s so refreshing.

I’m not disagreeing, just that in mass amount of dramas in which the FL is abused in ways that goes beyond the imagination and they forgive those MLs, this one in which he was just absolutely and cluelessly ridiculous and judgmental on top of having to really woo her, fight for her, them ending together is not a big deal. But I do hear you. I personally would not be able to forgive, at least not as easily
@ towards the beginning when she returns to work and she is given that major project and she gets in the car with him to discuss further the job. He introduces himself officially and she realizes who he is right there and then that he is her ex-husband that she just divorced. He finds out that she is his ex-wife towards the very end when they both are at the grandmother’s house towards the end of the drama, just before he saves her and gets hit on the head

Interesting story line. ML and FL quite good chemistry and bring their characters well. Antagonist characters well done. Rest of the team done well. Entertaining.😊
Why on earth did she go back to him ??🙄 Why is there no ending where she leaves him high and dry aand with self dignity ? And why is it in all these dramas, the ML has a sexy friend or sexy "sister" hanging at his arm like a possessive puppy? Are rich Chinese couple act like that in real life ? How can any woman tolerate this unless in bigamy couple.

I think, this version is the fifth drama I watched with a similar plot. There were a few differences like their divorce happened earlier in the beginning of the drama and the ex-wife met the ex-husband earlier but her ex-husband did know who his ex-wife was. I like this drama better. The husband divorced his wife without knowing who she was or what kind of person she was. Then her ex-husband, Mr. Qin, starts having feelings for Ms. Anny. This is good revenge for Anny to her scumbag husband pretending she is with her boyfriend but actually, she is with her brother. LOL! Sweet revenge. 😂😂😂 This is a good drama, the actor and actress roles are believable. The English translations are good. Du Yafei and Li Ruoqi are among the few stars I like to watch. I totally enjoy this drama. ❤❤❤
This FL is very pretty and I have enjoyed most of the dramas I have watched with her in them. But I swear, they all wear their hair the same, makeup the same, clothes the same, talk the same, same facial features as if they went to the dr with the same photo 😂…..when I DO come across an actress that has a interesting look it’s so refreshing.
