Would a NPN 2222 Transistor work in place of the one your using mate? Also would a LDR work maybe better and your using a 3.7 18650 right? Wouldn't chare better and quicker with Two Solar Panels instead of the One your using? Just asking. Asking questions is of learning. Thanks for the upload. Nicely done and would work well.

hi may i know what battery are you using? that looks like an AA , and most AA batteries are 1.2 v only, is it appropriate to connect it to a 6V solar panel?
@@richardnoordhoff4288 - This is basically based on a Garden Solar Light Design, when dark it turns it on. I think it would be better to design the same, but using bigger battery instead. That way you can use it as an On/Off Light + Emergency Light too and longer lasting and rechargeable too.

It's easy to give bad feed back, place a tp4056 and a ldr and it's already better. More improve is always nice to hear.
