I am also a conceptual learner who would much rather understand the underlying physiology rather than brute memorize an equation, so this was right up my alley! Its unfortunate how many viewers are apparently the opposite and wanted plug-and-chug algebra over all the time and effort you spent on clarifying the overall picture. Everyone throws the formula and its implications at you; no one explains how the heck it came about??? This was the only source I could find that was so very helpful, thank you, and it seems so ridiculously simple once you get it :') ✨

The point of this video was to explain the concepts and reasoning behind the Bohr equation, and he spent 17 minutes of this video explaining it very clearly and setting up the foundation for us to finally understand each component of the equation. In the final minute of the video he wraps up by restating each variable of the equation and where we obtained that value from. Now yes, he did not plug-and-chug these numbers into the equation and provide us with a numerical answer. But... that is honestly besides the point here, plug-and-chug is something we can do in about 10 seconds on our own calculator. Its the CONCEPTS and fundamental understanding he has provided us with. I guess we likely have different learning styles, but I also think it's a bit extreme to label this entire video as a "waste of time" just because he did not plug-and-chug at the very end.
