This may well be the greatest reimagining of Black Sabbath music ever. Further proof the original songs were pure genius. My hat is off to this band. Epic.
jazz sabbath is a close second for sure
@@anthonydion2749 no doubt, I dig that too.
Awesome how they bring big band funk swing full circle to the roots.
I love covers like this because they show you the most underrated thing about bands like sabbath and other rock/metal bands that most people miss and that is that underneath the image, tone, attitude, weird clothes, tattoos etc. The music is beautifully written with substance, it's not just a bunch of stereotypical long haired, drug using freaks making cool sounds that are loud and out of control. Underneath it all Black Sabbath were 4 extremely controlled and brilliant musicians before ANYTHING else. You can break down the music and play it on any instruments, in any genre. the true music is really the only thing that matters, everything else means nothing.
Excellent! As a diehard Sabbath fan one might be skeptical, but the integrity and musicianship here is exceptional. Can't imagine anyone who loves or cares about music not being ecstatic. Very, very good!
I've been a huge Sabbath fan since the late seventies and LOVE this.!!!
they're so good!
00:13 01. Iron Man
04:06 02. The Wizard
13:06 03. Planet Caravan
19:08 04. N.I.B.
These early Sabbath tunes really lend themselves to jazz-funk treatment. The horn arrangements are genius. And the guitars are solid (despite being both hollow-bodied :). Bass, drums, and vocals are exemplary, making this worth the effort. A+
Solid Hollow Bodies, hahaha! I'm thinking the horn section coming in at unexpected moments is what truly makes this band
@@michalwatts2947 yeah the horns really ad some special. But the whole banda spot on
I fell in love with that cover of Planet Caravan
Lovely Lovely Lovely as a Sabbath fan , started watching them in 1972 --- this takes it to a different level---- and keeps the music alive . Thank you so much Brownout
Incredible classics and the Brownout guys have done some excellent work on these timeless songs.
As a massive fan of Black Sabbath (first saw them in 1978 with Van Halen supporting) I can say I absolutely love this! Great stuff.
Is it true that VH blew them away?
David Finn Indeed, they did
+Howard Jones He-he-he Van Halen blew away Sabbath?!!! he-he-he - ha-ha... This make my day. :)
I Saw That Tour In New Haven, Conn 1978
David Finn, by that time in their career Black Sabbath couldn't think of anything else besides cocaine, Van Halen couldn't think of anything else besides exciting fans
I heard these at Summercamp 2017 tripping my ass off across the tent city and was drawn to it. I literally walked to them like moths fly to light. One of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you guys🤘🤘🤘
Absolute genius. Puts me to mind of Zappa covering Stairway to Heaven.
Two of my favorite thing collide Black Sabbath and Jazz funk. I want more! 🤘🔥🔥🔥🤘
Love the band so much! I also want to extend my sincere appreciation for the people at KEPX (i.e., sound techs) who record every performance on par with any formal studio recording. These never sound like demos. Amazing work guys!
that clave on planet caravan is so good. I'll hear it my head for the rest of the day
The best and freshest sabbath covers i've heard. Too cool.
Diehard Sabbath fan here as well. Awesome stuff. It's almost as though Chicago Transit Authority did Sabbath covers. And that's a good thing.
I would like to hear Toni's take on this band and their solid jazzy interpretation of these classic Sabbath tunes. I've a feeling he would really dig it!
Wow just fantastic
Awesome, just awesome sound, and I am a BIG Sabbath fan. ROCK ON!!
two of my favorite worlds collide. Bravo!!
Ozzy, Geezer, Bill & Tony would be blown away if they heard this. I am a series Sabbath fan for 40 years now, a professional gigging/touring musician for 34 years (Guitar ShredTastefully n Vocals), Studio owner/ audio engineer for 30 years & I have heard some really good Sabbath covers over the years. But Brownout has taken it to another level. The beats, re-arrangements, the dynamics from the horns, vocals true to the original and impressive especially @ 9am & as a guitarist I have to give the guitar work a 10 out of 10 for -less gain/saturation = more tone n more dynamics, a very tastefull choice of Fx and they slayed all the guitar parts by covering their asses playing all parts/notes you must play and for the things they added to such iconic songs. I love this SH2T I'm blown away !
Black Sabbath is one of my favorite bands... Brown Sabbath is rocking my world right now. Great stuff!!!
Just saw these guys at Brooklyn bowl lv. Only 2 words to describe it. Holy shit
u lucky mother 😆 was it brown out? so do they ho by brown sabbath or brown out latin funk 9 pc
nonet .sizzleing
Fantastic.
Fantastic!
This band captures the essence what the true Sabbath was all about!!!!!
FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!
I am so glad I found this! We stumbled across this band decades ago in New Orleans from a flyer stapled to a light post!!
Brilliant!!!
One of the best bands I've seen live, and an amazing/fun show. Highly recommended!
Like to see them cover 'Symptoms of the universe' or 'Hole in the sky'
Me too,i love Sabotage.
Hole in the sky could be a good idea.
Two great tunes !
@@fabiodewitt9140 The heaviest of the heavy
A national acrobat
This is a great show to have and hear.. Thank You all
You guys are amazing
I brought you via UA-cam to a little party gathering in Daytona beach
And the loved you.
Thanks
I wish I could add a like every time I return here!
Please come to Europe either as Brown Sabbath or Brown Out.
This reminds me of the band Gun, mainly their track Race With The Devil. For those of you that don't know who the band gun is they're a protometal (pre Sabbath) band with horns.
I recommend this to all my friends and family. Soooooo awesome.
How come I've not seen this until now? Very good indeed. Seen Sabbath and Ozzy a few times but not together. Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio and Ian Gillan and Ozzy twice. All back in the 80's. Really enjoying these well crafted and original covers...
who are the 22 people who do didn't like this? clueless and closed minds. This is brilliant!
I dig these & their take on Sabbath works really well. I didn't think I would like it but I really do. And if you really listen to Bill Wards drumming its influenced by a lot of Jazz & Swing , which is probably why this works so well.
great stuff
I love Black Sabbath and now I love these guys! Amazing!!!
awesome!
Ozzy said it perfectly. It's a cross between Sabbath and Chicago. He loved it.
I'm also detecting a dash of early Santana!
Big Sabbath fan here and I absolutely love it!
First of all, this is phenomenal and I can't believe I am only discovering them now! The whole band is fantastic and I loved the concept, with Sabbath being one of the best ever in my humble opinion.
But I gotta say to me the absolute highlight was the guy singing planet caravan. Just amazing feeling, delivery and tone, such a precious homage to the original. Such attention to detail!
Watching this made me realize 2 things. Ozzy's original vocal lines are absolutely perfect and there is no point in trying to improve on them. And there is a clear bridge between Sabbath and System of a Down that their version of NIB made evident. Very cool.
Just in case u didn't heard ua-cam.com/video/ZOP6umd-T1s/v-deo.html
love u guys From Brazil
Black Sabbath em ritmo de funk (o original), soul, jazz e música latina.
Ficou animalesco!
Excelentes versões!
War meets Sabbath...
This is awesome! I am a lifelong Sab-head, and I love their treatment of these great songs.
Imagine a Birmingham superband (#BlackSabbath) with latin style, some santana beat, and Boom:
They're Brownout
My God this is kick-ass.
just found this... as an old Sabbath fan from way back.... mind blown....KAPOW
If Black Sabbath and the BT Express had a baby.... and I love both of those things with all my heart
I love Sabbath and I love this group.
Nothing wrong with a bit of reworking and these guys are such good musicians.
These guys and the arranger are brilliant!
So so AWESOME!! Love this take on Sabbath!!
Brillant. Love it !
Quantum-scale timing! Only 130.513 thousand views? UNACCEPTABLE!
Love these guys. "Planet Caravan"? What a treat.
I want to see these guys. This is awesome!
Far freakin out - I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! Even if this apparently came out of Seattle, which I have a love/hate relationship with, which has nothing to do with this amazing music and fabulous musicians -- and Black Sabbath, forever and ever AMEN!!!! Thank you!!!!!
I could totally mosh to this, this performance was killer
absolutely awesome!
Love the arrangements!!!
But seriously, these guys are out friggin standing!
They do the sabbath justice, good work guys very innovative and entertaining
Incredible.
I love this! They put their own twist on some great tunes!
This is some of the best stuff out there!!!!!! I usually despise cover bands but these guys got the groove!!
Don't ever let your feet hit the ground on your way backstage studio to lubricate vocal chords with Jack Daniel shots!
Give us Lord of this World please. Excellent job guys, love it...
Awesome, love it guys.
You can brown Sabbath any Black Sabbath song just find those same guitar 🎸 notes on a saxophone 🎷 and you are home free.
Fucking awesome!👍 I just clicked on this after watching the "Fairies Wear Boots" cover and I mention on the comments for that clip that I would love to hear "Planet Caravan" and what do?.. they play it, and it's awesome!😵👍 the soloing🎸 rocks the only thing I would say it could not use is may be the high hats? the rides on it work when it was used, but the hi-hat is the only thing at all that I would change on that!👌✌
Pure Genius!!
fantastic!!!!
Amazing! Thanks A lot! I want to hear another classic bands in this style)
This is fantastic, come to Montréal!
one word. Awesome.
These guys WILL blow up. Kick ass.

Oh man... planet caravan sounds so beautiful, I love pantera's version but this one is really something out of the box. Awesome vibe!
Es como......fusionar a Sabbath con Santana de los.70's......
Asombroso Planet Caravan !!!!!
Love this crunchy Latin flavor 🖤
AWESOME!
This brings me back to the day I snuck into my older brothers room and put this crazy ass album on that scared the living shit out of me and blew my mind at the same time, forever changed. Sabbath one and forever. Into the void boys , killer!
Brilliant.
the strange thing about iron man is that at first i thought it was dumb to cover it because it didnt sound anything like it.but after several plays it grew on me now i think its killer esp.the horns.that petvussion and hirbs really changes the sound but its in a good way
Super cool!
Not just 'yes'...but 'Fuck Yes'....that is all.
YEEEAH!!!
SUPERNAUT!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!
They've a second album with that track on!! Spotify it
