I saw them at the Pittsburgh (PA) Arts Festival years ago withiut really knowing much about them and was blown away. Raw, honest music. Great balance between the brothers and no one grandstanding. Super impressed with Jojo's bass playing and personal presence (even though I am a guitar player). I consider "Heaven" too pop on the radio, but it really made sense when they did it live. Come back to the East
I am a long time fan of SRV and would like to get that sound. Henry has it down. But I really enjoy Henry playing Henry. I felt like that's where he was when I saw them. Again, they were so tight and played like brothers that love each other and were in each other's souls. Like when siblings have natural singing harmonies
Love Los Lonely boys. I met them in Galveston Texas at a venue there opening for Three Dog Night. They talked about their dad and performing since they were kids with him. I told them, I thought they would be something. I came for Three Dog Night, and left being there for Los Lonely Boys. Right soon thereafter they won a Grammy. I KNEW IT!.
My favorite group. I play them everywhere...in the car, while working, on the treadmill, while pumping iron. I envy these three brothers. They have it all...love, respect, fame, money, adulation, a passion, friends and of course a close knit family.

John Meyer said no one could play those strings like Stevie for that long without their fingers cramping up and he took a lot of his lics from SRV. Unfortunately, groups live and die with hits like this one. They have not produced another hit like this one in years and therein lies the problem. So why not copy more songs like LaBamba?
