This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
Tanks are going to get buffed soon BUT that means reaper will be getting a slight indirect nerf due to reaper being a "tank buster". Once the update hits you may aswell try to flank more with reaper or just play others.
Tanks do deserve this new buff though due to how quick they get melted but I hope blizzard give the reaper rework soon since the best way to use reaper is to just shred tanks. If they can make reaper better against squishies and not tanks that'll be good. We will have to see what they do.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 1900 hours and 800 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.
The codes for these games are BK3QQ8 (Antarctic Peninsula) and 9BAET8 (Blizzard World).

Clearly whoever came up with idea to nerf reaper probably died to him alot despite him already being nerfed enough as it is .
Yeah he needs a buff/rework, whoever came up with the idea by nerfing Reeba is actually high or just retarded
The one thing reaper excels at is dealing with tanks, they finally nerf Orisa just to hit him hard with tank changes. Someone at Blizzard got bodied by a Reaper player one time
When Blizzard does rework Reaper, I hope give a damage reduction when he tps or a second passive ability where the enemies can’t hear his footsteps because whats the point of Reaper being a flanker when everyone can hear his loud ass feet.
Or probably give Death Blossom CC immunity
tp one wasn't a bad idea, no footsteps tho? Using that logic they'd have to do it to tracer and that would ruin the game entirely
Damage reduction on tp seems like a good idea, so reaper can push snipers without instantly getting headshot and then getting reported for feeding. Especially cuz he'd still be weak to cc so there would be some counter play even if he had 50% DR

ever since ow2 came out reaper has been constantly getting nerf both indirectly and direct
I think reaper should have a right click that lets him shoot both shotguns at the same time. This would be a double edged sword because it would kill quicker if you hit your shots for when the enemies have low health but would be bad it you completely miss your shots because of no consistent damage. If this is too good then they could make the fire rate a little slower for this ability. Also the spread of the shotguns might have to be larger for this ability because of one shot potential for squishies.

This does not makes any sense, those changes would never exist if still be 6v6, reaper was nerfed on transition from ow 1 to ow 2 and now this ? Right now most of the fime I fell like i am shooting conefetti if the target is not a tank
Reaper hasn't had a buff in over 10 seasons of OW and yet they some how think he needs another nerf to the only remaining viable aspect of his kit. What's worse is that no one in the community is even mentioning it other than the few Reaper mains that exist. It's clear to me now that Reaper players were never welcome in this game in the first place.
Absolutely insane move to further gimp one of the weakest heroes in the game. Junkrat is gonna be the best tankbuster in the game lmao.

I find reaper mostly useful against tank but after that change happens to tanks it can goes negatively for him

I don’t mind a nerf, but this *should* apply to everyone besides Reaper or Bastion. Soldier, Sojourn, Widow, Zen, Bap, and even Widow could tank shred without closing the distance like Reaper.
You played amazing even with the enemy team having a Dva you still carried that game 30 kills and 18K dmg and some solid ultimates to🔥👍
reaper not being tank killer is fine as long as the rat is scared of reaper
How about reaper can use special melee weapon once while he’s in wraith form and its gonna lock enemy movement ability like cassidy’s grenade

I still want to know what rank is reaper a threat to the tanks so I can play a couple games there. I swear all of my masters and gm games have the tanks running it down at me since reaper is usually the weakest link in most comps now
@@ismphobyes reaper is not used a lot in my GM games it’s always tracer, sojourn or Cassidy
@@alextevino9171 reaper is used in my gm games because I'm the reaper one trick throwing the match by playing the character into snipers/ranged dps XD
