I’m 6’2 and fit in my Brera just fine. It’s 11 years old now and at 113k miles - trouble free. Nothing non-routine has needed done and inside it shows no signs of wear, even the drivers seat bolster looks fine. Have sat in a newer Merc E coupe with peeling buttons, worn seats and scratched dash.
Very true. I'm also over six foot and I've never understood the criticism when people under six foot complain about headroom. Perhaps they're not removing their booster seats, I've no idea...
Such a great generation of cars from Alfa, unfortunately misunderstood. As for the journalists, I do not trust their reviews at all, many of them knows little about what makes a great car.
I absolutely loved this review because I’m an Alfaholic, however I geniuinely do enjoy the way Tom presents the show it’s too bad he’s no longer around to talk about cars. And don’t worry Tom that soft suspension can be fixed!
Don't be stupid. This is not for pure velocity, but for enjoy the street. Specially good on the snow, like mine Brera coupe Q4 3.2 V6. More better than SUVs like Rover, Audi ecc.
I always found 159 generation of cars beautiful to drive, so well composed, beautiful fast steering and the amount of mechanical grip was incredible. Not a light cars at all and that is maybe the reason why the reviews like this were so common. I believe people misunderstood the Brera and the Spider, those were more a GT cars than small racers. Also very well made cars overall, it is a shame Alfa did not sell them in larger quantities.
I agree. I am the proud owner of a 2004 Alfa GT 3.2. The Busso V6 gives it a distinctive character, the beautifully elegant lines catch my eye every time I look at her, and she's as reliable as any car I've had (including straight 6 BMWs and V6 VWs). With Alfa's you just need to make sure you look after them properly. And they look so much more special than other brands.
Lovely car, the same can't be said for whoever the presenter is. Why do all car show presenters think they need to be like Clarkson; just be yourselves please.
I am so annoyed with Alfa about the Brera/Spider/159- arguably one of the most beautiful cars made. However, they don''t drive like a real Alfa should- light on its feet and nimble. Brera feels like an Audi in the corners - understeery and heavy :( My 155 may be old, but on a twisty road it is uncomparably better than a Brera or Spider
Lol, seeing all the strange indifferent comments from all these confused teens. Tom was humerous without being a webasexual bandwaggoner and had an eye for the unusual and exotic. However; this was always gonna age badly, but there's always the Guilia
Looks better than the new models unlike most cars lol number plate only thing that ruins it police should allow to have just a rear seems a crime to have it on a side like that..spoiling the looks!
Alfa's are great cars but the dealers are completely atrociously bad. They have no passion for either the product or for giving a good service to their customers. They spoiled my ownership of my Alfa GT bought new in 2005. I sold it before the warranty expired.
With 5th Gear coming back on TV how are we meant to know what is a new or old video if we are not familiar with the model you are reviewing??? This car reg is 12 YEARS OLD??? So why are you posting on UA-cam today??? Even your tittle and description make it sound like a new review. Why are you showing such old, outdated car reviews? I have better things to do that find out what you thought about a car 12 years ago that is no longer made, what is the point? My point is :- STOP wasting everyone's time......
Its still such a beautiful car.

Yep I’m calling lazy journalism on the height issue. I’m 6 foot and Brera is not an issue. He’s doing it wrong.

Tom is now hosting Top Gear America.
Put some respect man, this is one off the most beautiful car of the last 30 years

I have the same but black. I can just sit and look at it many hours. Spider looks amazing

Sei tu che sembra Anonimo!!!
I have one of these great little cars. It is just so much fun. Puts a huge grin on face every time I drive it.

This guy has the seat raised or something, im 6 ft 2 and fit in my spider perfectly
Talks about great engine note *doesn't include clips of engine noise*
Cianski it's a lame GM engine
@Martin M agreed and it's at its best in the Alfa Romeo 4C!
We had one of these. It was lovely, touch erratic electrically.
What a stunner! That design is just timeless!
I agree 100%
Hahahha ALPHA!!!!! Someone should get sacked.
Alexander Barr “alfa” ;)
This car is a dream!
Great review of a car.... that I wish was/would have been available in Canada. Thanks for the video.
If you complain about the Brera driving position, you don’t understand what a Brera is for.
My god! It's such a sexy car!!!!! Timeless car for shure!

netweed09 another idiot trying to be smart. It's spelt GIULIA not guilia.
Looks better than the new models unlike most cars lol number plate only thing that ruins it police should allow to have just a rear seems a crime to have it on a side like that..spoiling the looks!
Having the plate on one side is so cool.
2024 looks better than 10 years ago
I have and is still beautiful car!
Bit why put in on again and again?...
Why not? You watched it didn't you?
What a fantastic car AR Brera spider

Alpha really????? Come on now!!!
"Alpha" and you're on TV too
Alfa Romeo needs respect
This presenter is like thrush, unwanted and really annoying!
Italian Stile but not german technology!

I enjoy watching the old content....
What's a tittle?
Del, do you have a full time carer?
Calm your tits. Don't say 'everyone' either - loads of people enjoy archived reviews. Oddball...
looks very hairdresser to me, but i cant believe it doesnt handel and needs all the shit to get it round a bend
They all speak the same these car reviewers. Just like top gear
Why you post old videos ??
The same reason people post old top gear reviews
Basura de reportaje 😐
good looking but overweight - does a passable impersonation of a sports car...until you try to drive it like a sports car.
It's a FWD car, so I never expect it to drive like a sports car.
Beta romeo
More of a tourer/poser than a sports car...
Bad images, bad vídeo no class for to make, Alfa Romeo is great no it
Oh dear me. ALFA. Car channel - you can do better.
Italian cars ARE the best. Don't pretend otherwise.
Alfa ffs...
ALFA
All of these are now in scrap yards
No they aren't
Really? That's like me saying that all dipshit comments have been removed from UA-cam.
Yet yours remains...
Mines not. 14 years old and still going strong.
