Bad week for American 777s. I’d rather have a taxiway brake fire than an active runway incursion though any day! Also crazy AA flies 25 year old 772s to Seattle while both BA and VA fly nearly brand new 787s. BA 787-10 is the best way to LHR from Seattle for my travels! Thanks Chris!
I feel like Chris always does something - at gatwick he got the fire service out due to a TUI having a leaking break and then a easyjet RTO and now he's causing chaos at heathrow.
Looked to be coming in a little hot and definitely hot after he stopped. Been wondering if the cold and damp made it look worse than it was, possibly. If this keeps up with these kind of things, airports are going to be asking 'Is SDTV here today' as it seems something happens every time. 😁😁
@@SDTVLiveAviation it's great watching planes me old man work at British areospace in filton Bristol 80s /90s He brought me up on the planes ❤️Your channel 🙏
I wonder if the pilots made a call for fire cover assistance..(would they have got a brake overheat warning in the cockpit?)..or was it ATC intitiated? anyone know?
I love watching these shows. It helps me to relax and be calm.
I’m so glad it helps, the aircraft and an airport are the safest place to be
Chris, you do such a marvelous job. Thank you for improving my life. Thank you. I mean it.
My pleasure mate! Glad it helps
A rather enthusiastic and optimistic exit there . Wonder if he was an ex US Navy carrier pilot 🤔
Rob he did sound like a very confident ex navy pilot, he didn’t want to miss terminal 3

Did he miss his touchdown mark? Or just not brake enough and then too much? I've been loving live streams whenever I can catch them!

RIP brakes of that B777
All for saving a taxi back from the next taxi way
Perhaps a mod needs to be done on all 777's , a parachute 😅

They did and unfortunately I didn’t have it on radio, the pilots asked for assistance because of the warning in the cockpit
