I’ve got 211 and no complaints. Great welder.
I love this machine so much after using it for about two months I took my little Lincoln 85 amp welder out to the firing range and filled it full of lead. That lincoln machine was a pain in my butt the whole 20 years I owned it. That thing was always screwing up.this Miller 211 that I have it is a dream I love this thing. This machine is
nice you just want to find things to build
i love miller welders i just got a miller 140 auto set mig welder i work great i was tack welding my fender to my hood to make it one pice flip front end i tacked weld it and i made great [tacks on it i love miller welder. it was the best mony I've spent on welder
Great machine - excellent presentation
Just got the 211 very powerful. Thanks for the video
Inverter welds are taller than transformer welds . I was not happy to find this was an inverter machine . They do this to save money on copper
Other way around. The transformer welders are taller and heavier. This one is the older transformer 211 which they haven't made for a few yrs now. Also the new investor model have small handles across the front and back. I'd much rather have this older 211 than the newer inverter 211.
No, I just did a quick search and in another UA-cam vid a Miller spokesman stated auto set won't work.
My 211 is less then a year old. The auto set does not work anymore. I had to tear the back of my machine apart to fix a gas leak in the fitting. I’m a very unsatisfied Miller customer. Wish I would of got the Everlast

it's a very smooth feeder, but the auto-set function is... inaccurate. it does set a nice ratio of heat and feed speed, although, i burned through 12 ga steel, when I set it for 13 ga. i had to dial it back to 16 ga, where i got full penetration of the 12 ga steel.
Very cool welder.
didn't catch if auto set works with flux cored wire?
Do you have to use gas when using .035 wire?
If you use .035 Solid Wire then you will need to use a shielding gas, if you use .035 Flux Core self-shielding wire, then you do not need an shielding gas. But you will need to switch the polarity on the machine for Flux Core wire. The work clamp will go to the positive output terminal and the Mig gun will go to the negative output terminal.
What is the duty cycle on this welder???? Nobody in any reviews seems to not say
sonny Godly 20% on 110v & 40% on 220v
20/30
I have ran this thing into the dirt and have not had to stop welding ever .
Can this machine be run with a 10000 watt generator
Yes, it can. We recommend at 7,500 watt generator, so you should be fine.
30% @ 150A with 230VAC input ......
This bad or good
This welder is for doctors and lawyers who watch too much Monster Garage.
+John Rambo Is there a product out there for welders that watch too much "ER" and "House"??
Not really. Mine has the switch in the ON position about 55 hours a week and makes me as much money as most doctors and liarz earn tho.
It's their best all around rig since the old MM200 which I also own for heavy work.Yes sweetie. In the world of welding 200 is sometimes more than 211. AHEM.
Not true , ive used junk that starts to crap out half way through a bead "LINCOLN" just saying . you can run a dam 20 inch bead around a spinning pipe with this welder . you can run a 3.5 inch bead at best with a Lincoln before it starts to crap out
