  • Large swaths of Asia are sweltering through a heatwave that has topped temperature records from Myanmar to the Philippines and forced millions of children to stay home from school. Scientists warn that extreme heat will become more frequent and intense because of human-induced climate change. FRANCE 24's Pavni Mittal reports from New Delhi, India.

What can the government do, is that a joke? Every single government on the planet has let humanity down. They should all be held accountable.

I’m concerned about food, water and energy. As it gets hotter, plants need more water yet soils and rivers dry up. As ag production and water supplies go down, less food will be produced. Even a 10% rise in food prices can start famines, destabilize governments and cause civil and other wars. Rivers and energy supplies cross national boundaries. And human populations in India and other countries are still rising rapidly. How much of a rise in food prices will it take to tank Indian economic growth? What food price rise level will cause civil collapse and conflict? What level of decline in water availability will lead to war with China and Pakistan?

While above normal that area of the world is never very comfortable at this time of the year. The best way of coping with bad weather is to avoid social media coverage of such stories.

People should copy what indonesian do to combat this heat. Indonesian simply do dancing. By dancing, they can make food supply magically fall from the sky. Heatwave is nothing for indo.
