Another great pencast. Been binge watching the pencast from.1 thru 25 and my eyes have become a bit winky. Also saw the 4 and 10 year reviews of how things started and been.progressing loved Rachel reaction to some of Brian's early videos and loved how Brian reacted watching the birth of his son. Saw the space pictures and thought they would look great on a fountain pen or maybe a set of Retro 51's. Loved the Avengers’ fountain pen choices. Revisited the Harry Potter rabbit hole recently (#unintentionaldeepdive), and I am now trying to choose fountain pens for the HP characters. In particular, I think that given his taste in socks, Dobby the house elf would be partial to Benu pens. His friend Winky however, deeply disapproved of his sock choices and would probably opt for something that looks more sensible and practical… maybe a LAMY safari. Thank you for the Pencast; there aren’t many forms of media that feel the way your show does: going way too deep on obscure hobbies, often touching on mental health and neurodivergence, not ignoring the current news and world situation but not dwelling on it, the frequent side quests into tangential lands, and the humor and the epic tales of assorted shenanigans (glad Brian has closed the “Trailer Saga: An Epic in Three Parts”). Doing this show brings levity and spots of joy into many peoples’ Fridays (or Saturdays).
I was also thinking of the HP characters with fountain pens. I think Hermione would use a Lamy 2000, because she would want a workhorse for her many notes, and she would prioritise the large ink capacity, and the convenience of a snap cap. And the simple look. Edit: I loved the pairing of Dobby and Benu pens!

I absolutely loved Drew's choices for the Avengers' pens, especially his assessment of each character's theoretical interest (or lack of interest) in fountain pens. I laughed so hard listening to the section about Thor (and, of course, Hawkeye's need to weaponize even a pen). Can we get a vote on what pen Thanos would use? (BENU Grand Scepter X?) Thank you guys for continuing to do this show. I listen to it to de-stress and it always cheers me up.
I'm a watch guy, have several dozen, vintage mixed with modern. I'd love to see a video by Drew sharing with us his watch collection. Seems like I see different ones a lot from him.
Oh that would be great. I collect watches I also have my fathers collection. Just can't get enough!! I'm worried though as not one of my 4 children express any interest in my or my fathers watches.

Hi, Mark! @3:20, soaps don't sterilize, but sterilization begins with the removal of superficial dirt which soaps do. If you need moisturised hands, fatty acids will moisturise your skin better than any cream. There is a plentiful source of fatty acids: soaps. When soap mixed with vinegar, glycerol which holds water and fatty acids that moisturise the skin are brought up from the soap - perfectly moisurised hands! PS: MD.
Hi guys. Nice to have a definitive name (Winkie) for what we call slippage, overhang, or le Nez "the nose" of a sock. I knit a lot of socks to avoid winkie. Loved hearing Brian's take on working with his significant other. I worked with my husband full-time nights at the hospital, at my fibercraft shop and running the farm. When you've got the right partner; it is the best of all possible worlds.
I am a big fan of the Lamy Imporium. Size, weight, feel, everything works great for me. There are two things I particularly like: 1. although it's a flagship pen from a very respected German manufacturer, it's not winky winky like, say, something with a star on the cap, it's just something for connoisseurs. 2. the Imporium has never dried up on me, even if I haven't written with it for weeks. Otherwise only my Platinum and my brass Kaweco manage that. Many thanks to both of you for this enjoyable Friday evening and the perfect start to the weekend.

I've been watching GPC videos since 2016, and just as Brian said, I have no memory of the question coming up before! I missed the TWSBI Vac700 R Iris the first time around, and I thought it was gone forever, so I feel very blessed to be able to purchase one last month, along with a gorgeous Benu Euphoria Ocean Breeze. I'm glad TWSBI has released the 580 Iris, but I like my purple 580 ALR even better. I enjoyed Drew's Avengers pen picks very much! My teen son has been so pumped about the first JWST images! Very exciting! Winky!
I have schizoaffective disorder and use the fountain pens and travelers notebook that I purchased from you to keep track of my thoughts throughout the day. This allows me to stay focused. The different fountain pens and many colored inks make the experience that much more special and help motivate me to keep up with it. I especially like the TWSBI VAV 700R Iris. I use Nitrogen in it and find it to be a good combination. I watch your pencasts and buy pens and inks based on them ( that I can afford). Thanks for all you do and for keeping my head in order.

Recently: American. - British Cookie - biscuit Biscuit - scone Scone - not sure what the Brit’s call it over there if they have it and I am pretty sure they do. You should have seen the crazy conversation before we figured it all out!
Drew, from a fellow Brown, I gotta tell ya a "winke" is something TOTALLY different. Well, not totally , the can both be floppy, but this is a family show! I agree with 6/7 of your Avengers picks. Steve has, in civil war, a desk pen. I think he's got an Esterbrook Estie or a Platinum 3776. Simple, classic. a reminder of the "good old days". Tony has a few , like you said , but I think the ones he EDCs are the Penider Back to the Future and Lamy 2000. But you left out Nick Fury, and he's got a Penider Forged Carbon: sleek mysterious and you never saw it coming!
One thought about the wonderful community built around this channel. While I understand that pen communities are generally friendly, I think that the viewers of this channel are particularly great, and I believe this must be because Brian and Drew are such likable guys. For instance, the discussions about pens and inks in this episode were interesting, but the story about Brian and Rachel and the "What's happening" section were much more entertaining and endearing. I think that combining these two aspects, pen news and likeable guys, is what makes this channel so great. Looking forward to many more episodes!

Agree on most of your Avengers picks, but disagree on Iron Man - I think his defining characteristics are (1) technically innovative (2) rich (3) flashy. Thus the pen for him would be a Pineider - from Dante Del Vecchio, the Tony Stark of the fountain pen world(?) - and it would have to be the most high end, flashy Pineider you have. So the pen for Iron Man is the Homage to Arman in Blue Also, you're right that Hawkeye wouldn't use a fountain pen, but the pen he's most likely to *have* is a Parker. He doesn't use it, but someone definitely bought him one as a gift because it has an arrow clip.
Hawkeye having a Parker is spot-on! I thought about a Pineider for Tony Stark - it would've been my second choice. I just felt that the machining of S.T. Dupont was slightly more polished, and the writing experience more consistent - that would've been something he valued. That said, I'm sure he enjoys Italian Sports Cars and Pineider DEFINITELY fits that vibe. - Drew

I loved the segment of best selling inks by brand. When it comes to the top colour being black, I would love to know what the 2nd top seller for each of those brands would be? Loving the show every week. It's my Saturday breakfast morning ritual(in Australia)and a great way to start the weekend 😀
I had a real issue with pinch blisters on my toes (my smallest two toes get just ~barely~ stepped on by the neighbors when I do a lot of walking and I end up with big blisters), which I just suffered with for years. But last year I finally took the time to start researching and testing solutions. And surprisingly the one thing that worked 100% was those toe glove socks. All that to say, that for the last year or so I haven't worn socks that are capable of winky. I am a true toe sock convert.

Wow, lots of FUN stuff in this episode. LOVED IT. I have a Q for next time: what do you know about the effects of DRY climate contributing to dry starts & dry /scratchy FP problems? Our high desert humidity is often 10% or less. I put a few eyedroppers of ink (from small Diamine container) into a tiny but easier-to-access aperitif glass and later that day it was all dried up! That gave me pause about my pens, and possibly why I have trouble. THX! 🖋
Last year, on the Sunday of the DC Supershow, my husband and I were driving home from the OBX, and our path takes us right by DC. I wanted to go to the show, but I was terrified of a parking situation I knew nothing about. So... simply in order to procure a parking space, we left the OBX at 3AM, slid into the hotel before 8AM, got a space RIGHT by the door, enjoyed a lovely breakfast, and then the show. My winky and I will go to extremes to avoid looking for parking. Winky.

I just love listening to you guys every Friday morning. ! I am doing the mondaine things as i listen but when you talk about pens i stop and look - oh those irushi makie pens! 😍 I’m on a pen spending hold at the moment-house taxes etc- but as soon as i can i will be looking for the more affordable price point- I didn’t know existed, ,as i dont go looking too much at prices i thought they would be way over my budget and who knows if a “finger slip “ happened 😲 i wouldn’t eat for a few months! -(but I’d have a makie pen.) I loved the “ordinary just the two of us “ day. Cherish them as they don’t come often.. it brought me down memory lane. Brian, i did like you, inbed i decided to listen to the news, and that bit they showed sent me to my iPad looking for more info= fascinating!!! In the choice of lines or parking, i have done like Drew, not finding parking going to a museum event, driving over an hour to get there not finding parking and just driving back home! Now that I’m older, i avoid the city altogether. Thanks to covid i get everything delivered or if i need to see it i do pick up, check it out on the spot and decide to keep it or not! They always have one pkg spot for pick ups! Waiting in line is not fun but i usually have a book-or something (sudokus) to keep my brain busy! It is surprising to see how popular the black inks are. It would be interesting to know the usage, whether it's drawing/art, journaling, office use, letters, etc. I always used a colored ink for the explicit intention to be able to spot a photocopy from the original. That's a great reason to always use a color instead of black in an office environment. (plus, color is better than blah black LOL) -- Brian, good looking trailer! (though your welds look a little cold. Bump the heat/amps up to get better flow in the weld) -- Future topic idea: Explain the differences between all the TWSBI models. (not pedantic detail, just the major differences) -- Thanks again for your vids! It's always a good time watching you and Drew interact and banter!

It means something TOTALLY different in the UK. How can we put this? Part of the Male anatomy, the first three letters being the same first three letters of Pencast. We think you know where we are going with this. Well, anyway, great show as always, and we will be watching all the way to the closing credits next time to see what Drew mentions next.
Hi Guys, happy Pencast Friday! I have the Vac 700R Iris with a fine nib (I use Organics Studio Nitrogen Ink in it) and love it! I love the Vac700R so much that I bought a clear 700R as well... I love the capacity, love the filling mechanism, the fact that you can use it with the Vac20A bottle, and love that you can close the ink chamber. I take my 700R Iris with me everywhere. It is one of the first pens I grab to grade papers. I was really wanting to save and get a Lamy 2000 or Pilot Vanishing Point and I have been trying to be good... I actually made it one week without buying a pen until this evening 🤣 I even seen the 580 on your website this week and thought it was a restock of the 700R Iris... until I watched this pencast... So... Yeah, I caved and I bought the 580 Iris (1.1 Stub) this evening and had to throw in a bottle of Diamine Happy Holidays Ink for it. I wanted this Iris pen to have the most glittery over the top pen/ink combo (we need a “What ink would you use in your Iris TWBSI pen or in a rainbow colored pen" video). It is going to be so much fun to write with! I cannot wait to see what the combo looks like when it arrives. I really do like the Diamond 580 too. I bought my first one (the Rose Gold II) from you guys last month and love it. Brian, I loved hearing that you and your wife work on your marriage. It is refreshing to hear a husband talk so openly about working on his business and his marriage. I've been blessed to be married for 37 years to a great man and being married is hard work, but it’s so worth it. I have two TWSBI Vac700 R Iris and was excited to see the color coming to the 580, thinking the price would be the same jump from the base model as the Vac700R.. now that I know the prices are the same, I'll probably just get another Vac700 in the iris.. I like that #6 nib! I searched for the parts of a sock and couldn't find a place that included the Winky (unless it was referencing Harry Potter)... but learned way more about socks then I'd ever care to know.. thanks Drew. ;)
This is such a good point! You could even maybe twist/extend the definition of line to be “wait time” as in time waiting for a restock (maybe even shipping time?) as well. That’s a stretch, but I kinda like my own new deffiniton and in that case would choose that one.

I just got a cross wanderlust in antelope canyon to borrow from a pen friend and it has such a quiet nice "snap" cap! It's such a gorgeous pen which looks so much more expensive than it is. I personally find the grip a little uncomfortable, but wonderful nonetheless. If you want to try one and if you're in the UK I know pen sharing has a botanica and a century, which are the same pen body.

Team skipping lines! Because it almost never happens that you get pushed to the front of the line, so in my logic you are gaining more than with the parking, which you don't give up completely - there's still a chance you'll get good parking Edit: how do you spell Winkie?
I finally have a word for it... I have long said that once you wear a pair of socks, you have a left and right sock because the big toe makes an indentation and if you wear it on the wrong foot, the part with the part with the big toe impression just flops around. Would that qualify as a winky? It is too tight round the toe because that side hasn't been stretched yet, so it's not dangling off all the toes. The only time I have experienced it otherwise was with socks with cheap elastic that has worn out.
um. I'm not sure if I've ever had a "winky" since I was 5 and my socks didn't stay up. Now I toss the sock if it stops staying up. Proud member of the Turkey Hammock club! :)
Idea for a hypothetical: would you rather have a magical ink that can become whichever color you want (shimmers, shaders and sheeners included) or a magical pen that can have any type of perfectly tuned nib in existence (stubs, italics, flex including the old gold ones that were amazing, weird grinds, etc.)? To counter Brian's follow-up questions: the magical ink wouldn't require any pen cleaning before changing colors; the magical pen wouldn't have a difficult mechanism to clean either; both of these are items that would be given to you, so price isn't an issue; the ink would never run out; the pen would write flawlessly every time and the nib on it would never wear out even after decades of daily use. Other related hypothetical, not sure if that one was done already: only one ink forever, or only one pen forever?

Loved the Avengers’ fountain pen choices. Revisited the Harry Potter rabbit hole recently (#unintentionaldeepdive), and I am now trying to choose fountain pens for the HP characters. In particular, I think that given his taste in socks, Dobby the house elf would be partial to Benu pens. His friend Winky however, deeply disapproved of his sock choices and would probably opt for something that looks more sensible and practical… maybe a LAMY safari.
Thank you for the Pencast; there aren’t many forms of media that feel the way your show does: going way too deep on obscure hobbies, often touching on mental health and neurodivergence, not ignoring the current news and world situation but not dwelling on it, the frequent side quests into tangential lands, and the humor and the epic tales of assorted shenanigans (glad Brian has closed the “Trailer Saga: An Epic in Three Parts”). Doing this show brings levity and spots of joy into many peoples’ Fridays (or Saturdays).
I was also thinking of the HP characters with fountain pens. I think Hermione would use a Lamy 2000, because she would want a workhorse for her many notes, and she would prioritise the large ink capacity, and the convenience of a snap cap. And the simple look.

I absolutely loved Drew's choices for the Avengers' pens, especially his assessment of each character's theoretical interest (or lack of interest) in fountain pens. I laughed so hard listening to the section about Thor (and, of course, Hawkeye's need to weaponize even a pen). Can we get a vote on what pen Thanos would use? (BENU Grand Scepter X?) Thank you guys for continuing to do this show. I listen to it to de-stress and it always cheers me up.

Hi, Mark! @3:20, soaps don't sterilize, but sterilization begins with the removal of superficial dirt which soaps do.
If you need moisturised hands, fatty acids will moisturise your skin better than any cream. There is a plentiful source of fatty acids: soaps. When soap mixed with vinegar, glycerol which holds water and fatty acids that moisturise the skin are brought up from the soap - perfectly moisurised hands!

Hi guys. Nice to have a definitive name (Winkie) for what we call slippage, overhang, or le Nez "the nose" of a sock. I knit a lot of socks to avoid winkie. Loved hearing Brian's take on working with his significant other. I worked with my husband full-time nights at the hospital, at my fibercraft shop and running the farm. When you've got the right partner; it is the best of all possible worlds.
I am a big fan of the Lamy Imporium. Size, weight, feel, everything works great for me. There are two things I particularly like:
1. although it's a flagship pen from a very respected German manufacturer, it's not winky winky like, say, something with a star on the cap, it's just something for connoisseurs.
2. the Imporium has never dried up on me, even if I haven't written with it for weeks. Otherwise only my Platinum and my brass Kaweco manage that.

I missed the TWSBI Vac700 R Iris the first time around, and I thought it was gone forever, so I feel very blessed to be able to purchase one last month, along with a gorgeous Benu Euphoria Ocean Breeze. I'm glad TWSBI has released the 580 Iris, but I like my purple 580 ALR even better.

I have schizoaffective disorder and use the fountain pens and travelers notebook that I purchased from you to keep track of my thoughts throughout the day. This allows me to stay focused. The different fountain pens and many colored inks make the experience that much more special and help motivate me to keep up with it. I especially like the TWSBI VAV 700R Iris. I use Nitrogen in it and find it to be a good combination. I watch your pencasts and buy pens and inks based on them ( that I can afford). Thanks for all you do and for keeping my head in order.
It is a great personal organiser to keep a fountain pen. You wouldn't expect such a miracle from an inanimate object, but you would be wrong.

Drew, from a fellow Brown, I gotta tell ya a "winke" is something TOTALLY different. Well, not totally , the can both be floppy, but this is a family show! I agree with 6/7 of your Avengers picks. Steve has, in civil war, a desk pen. I think he's got an Esterbrook Estie or a Platinum 3776. Simple, classic. a reminder of the "good old days". Tony has a few , like you said , but I think the ones he EDCs are the Penider Back to the Future and Lamy 2000. But you left out Nick Fury, and he's got a Penider Forged Carbon: sleek mysterious and you never saw it coming!

One thought about the wonderful community built around this channel. While I understand that pen communities are generally friendly, I think that the viewers of this channel are particularly great, and I believe this must be because Brian and Drew are such likable guys. For instance, the discussions about pens and inks in this episode were interesting, but the story about Brian and Rachel and the "What's happening" section were much more entertaining and endearing. I think that combining these two aspects, pen news and likeable guys, is what makes this channel so great. Looking forward to many more episodes!

Agree on most of your Avengers picks, but disagree on Iron Man - I think his defining characteristics are (1) technically innovative (2) rich (3) flashy. Thus the pen for him would be a Pineider - from Dante Del Vecchio, the Tony Stark of the fountain pen world(?) - and it would have to be the most high end, flashy Pineider you have. So the pen for Iron Man is the Homage to Arman in Blue
Also, you're right that Hawkeye wouldn't use a fountain pen, but the pen he's most likely to *have* is a Parker. He doesn't use it, but someone definitely bought him one as a gift because it has an arrow clip.
Hawkeye having a Parker is spot-on! I thought about a Pineider for Tony Stark - it would've been my second choice. I just felt that the machining of S.T. Dupont was slightly more polished, and the writing experience more consistent - that would've been something he valued. That said, I'm sure he enjoys Italian Sports Cars and Pineider DEFINITELY fits that vibe. - Drew

I loved the segment of best selling inks by brand. When it comes to the top colour being black, I would love to know what the 2nd top seller for each of those brands would be? Loving the show every week. It's my Saturday breakfast morning ritual(in Australia)and a great way to start the weekend 😀
I had a real issue with pinch blisters on my toes (my smallest two toes get just ~barely~ stepped on by the neighbors when I do a lot of walking and I end up with big blisters), which I just suffered with for years. But last year I finally took the time to start researching and testing solutions. And surprisingly the one thing that worked 100% was those toe glove socks. All that to say, that for the last year or so I haven't worn socks that are capable of winky. I am a true toe sock convert.

Wow, lots of FUN stuff in this episode. LOVED IT. I have a Q for next time: what do you know about the effects of DRY climate contributing to dry starts & dry /scratchy FP problems? Our high desert humidity is often 10% or less. I put a few eyedroppers of ink (from small Diamine container) into a tiny but easier-to-access aperitif glass and later that day it was all dried up! That gave me pause about my pens, and possibly why I have trouble. THX! 🖋
Last year, on the Sunday of the DC Supershow, my husband and I were driving home from the OBX, and our path takes us right by DC. I wanted to go to the show, but I was terrified of a parking situation I knew nothing about. So... simply in order to procure a parking space, we left the OBX at 3AM, slid into the hotel before 8AM, got a space RIGHT by the door, enjoyed a lovely breakfast, and then the show. My winky and I will go to extremes to avoid looking for parking. Winky.

I am doing the mondaine things as i listen but when you talk about pens i stop and look - oh those irushi makie pens! 😍 I’m on a pen spending hold at the moment-house taxes etc- but as soon as i can i will be looking for the more affordable price point- I didn’t know existed, ,as i dont go looking too much at prices i thought they would be way over my budget and who knows if a “finger slip “ happened 😲 i wouldn’t eat for a few months! -(but I’d have a makie pen.)

In the choice of lines or parking, i have done like Drew, not finding parking going to a museum event, driving over an hour to get there not finding parking and just driving back home! Now that I’m older, i avoid the city altogether. Thanks to covid i get everything delivered or if i need to see it i do pick up, check it out on the spot and decide to keep it or not! They always have one pkg spot for pick ups! Waiting in line is not fun but i usually have a book-or something (sudokus) to keep my brain busy!

It is surprising to see how popular the black inks are. It would be interesting to know the usage, whether it's drawing/art, journaling, office use, letters, etc. I always used a colored ink for the explicit intention to be able to spot a photocopy from the original. That's a great reason to always use a color instead of black in an office environment. (plus, color is better than blah black LOL) -- Brian, good looking trailer! (though your welds look a little cold. Bump the heat/amps up to get better flow in the weld) -- Future topic idea: Explain the differences between all the TWSBI models. (not pedantic detail, just the major differences) -- Thanks again for your vids! It's always a good time watching you and Drew interact and banter!

We think you know where we are going with this. Well, anyway, great show as always, and we will be watching all the way to the closing credits next time to see what Drew mentions next.

Hi Guys, happy Pencast Friday! I have the Vac 700R Iris with a fine nib (I use Organics Studio Nitrogen Ink in it) and love it! I love the Vac700R so much that I bought a clear 700R as well... I love the capacity, love the filling mechanism, the fact that you can use it with the Vac20A bottle, and love that you can close the ink chamber. I take my 700R Iris with me everywhere. It is one of the first pens I grab to grade papers.
I was really wanting to save and get a Lamy 2000 or Pilot Vanishing Point and I have been trying to be good... I actually made it one week without buying a pen until this evening 🤣 I even seen the 580 on your website this week and thought it was a restock of the 700R Iris... until I watched this pencast... So... Yeah, I caved and I bought the 580 Iris (1.1 Stub) this evening and had to throw in a bottle of Diamine Happy Holidays Ink for it. I wanted this Iris pen to have the most glittery over the top pen/ink combo (we need a “What ink would you use in your Iris TWBSI pen or in a rainbow colored pen" video). It is going to be so much fun to write with! I cannot wait to see what the combo looks like when it arrives.
I really do like the Diamond 580 too. I bought my first one (the Rose Gold II) from you guys last month and love it.

I have two TWSBI Vac700 R Iris and was excited to see the color coming to the 580, thinking the price would be the same jump from the base model as the Vac700R.. now that I know the prices are the same, I'll probably just get another Vac700 in the iris.. I like that #6 nib! I searched for the parts of a sock and couldn't find a place that included the Winky (unless it was referencing Harry Potter)... but learned way more about socks then I'd ever care to know.. thanks Drew. ;)

This is such a good point! You could even maybe twist/extend the definition of line to be “wait time” as in time waiting for a restock (maybe even shipping time?) as well. That’s a stretch, but I kinda like my own new deffiniton and in that case would choose that one.

Brian, I am not sure where to get them but I have recently seen a QR sticker set for your giant tote problem. I know you have already replaced them but for future reference they have a QR sticker with an app I believe and you can link the sticker on the container to pictures and lists of the items in it! No need to pull down all the totes. Just scan the QR and see what’s in it! Genius! Oh and down here in the south (Louisiana) ‘winky’ is not something found in your shoe, and little boys are the only ones to have them. 😉 lol

I just got a cross wanderlust in antelope canyon to borrow from a pen friend and it has such a quiet nice "snap" cap! It's such a gorgeous pen which looks so much more expensive than it is. I personally find the grip a little uncomfortable, but wonderful nonetheless. If you want to try one and if you're in the UK I know pen sharing has a botanica and a century, which are the same pen body.
My favorite ink is the Aurora Brown which came with the Trilobiti. Winky

Team skipping lines! Because it almost never happens that you get pushed to the front of the line, so in my logic you are gaining more than with the parking, which you don't give up completely - there's still a chance you'll get good parking

I finally have a word for it... I have long said that once you wear a pair of socks, you have a left and right sock because the big toe makes an indentation and if you wear it on the wrong foot, the part with the part with the big toe impression just flops around. Would that qualify as a winky? It is too tight round the toe because that side hasn't been stretched yet, so it's not dangling off all the toes. The only time I have experienced it otherwise was with socks with cheap elastic that has worn out.
um. I'm not sure if I've ever had a "winky" since I was 5 and my socks didn't stay up. Now I toss the sock if it stops staying up. Proud member of the Turkey Hammock club! :)

Idea for a hypothetical: would you rather have a magical ink that can become whichever color you want (shimmers, shaders and sheeners included) or a magical pen that can have any type of perfectly tuned nib in existence (stubs, italics, flex including the old gold ones that were amazing, weird grinds, etc.)?
To counter Brian's follow-up questions: the magical ink wouldn't require any pen cleaning before changing colors; the magical pen wouldn't have a difficult mechanism to clean either; both of these are items that would be given to you, so price isn't an issue; the ink would never run out; the pen would write flawlessly every time and the nib on it would never wear out even after decades of daily use.

@@angelaking9619 That'd be my answer too! I do like switching pens and nib sizes, but it's generally the ink color that makes me clean a pen so I can put another one in it :)
Winkie in the Turkey Hammock! 😁 I'm with Drew re: parking spaces. I have also bailed on something if I can't find a parking space. Way too frustrating. Similar to Brian, I've been less tolerant of advertisements as well.
