I guess you really didn't want to let your brother have a go driving 😂. But seriously it's good to see you guys got to keep a car or two and are going to get to enjoy them. It was strange they didn't have much driving on the show I guess they are just used to other car shows where the cars are only sema ready
Also, you can get a hellcat fuel pump from walbro/TI and swap the in tank pump. Depending on how your fuel system is setup, you may need bigger lines to really make it party.
Love the wagon!! Almost 20 years ago I had a 1991 Chevy Cavalier station wagon in the D/FW area. It was very similar to the premise of this build. The stock 3.1L V6 was bored .030 over, the crank was from a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix Turbo, it had a custom Crower cam, a T3/T4 turbo, and a 5 speed manual transmission swap(all Cavalier wagons were automatic). It was a sleeper, and even had the license plate SLEEPR! It was a terror on the street having surprised a LOT of people, but was slow from a dig with having no traction till the top of 3rd gear. I miss having a wagon!!
First clue something wasn't going to go right was when you closed the hood and the corner lens fell out 🤣 The TV show was great to gain exposure but the freedom of the UA-cam format is WAY better.
Have you guys seen the Volvoghini project someone in Finland (I think) has done recently? I say recently, however, he took a while sorting a few bits of it out (like the steering / oil pan situation. He’s been ripping it on some Sweden speedways/drag strips (/whatever you all know them as) for their speed week recently too Yours looks pretty mint too!
I don't like wagons I don't like volvos.... BUT dam I want this car, I'm now a believer.... yes an 8.8 gives you disks, choice of gear and same bolt pattern.
I think some ol good Texas boys learnt a thing or two from the “tv show crew” about story telling and how to make better UA-cam videoS. I’ll look forward to following the Volvo build boys. #motorswapallthethings
Glad to see another wagon put back on the road! I was born in 1956 and grew up in my moms Chevy Nomad. First car I ever drove. Mom went to take groceries in the house and I pulled the parking brake and rolled it into the street when I was 3 or 4 years old.
Hey! I was the guy who sold you this car! So awesome to see you guys slapped some horsepower into it! It’s like a grandpa car except grandpa took a lot of preworkout and viagra 😂
You Guys know that volvo with the original engine they are made to last forEVER i dont think i never have heard a volvo of that ages die before they runned 500 000 miles atleast. i remember we had one we was gonna try kill on my school we drained it for oil and revved it on a farm field for 1hr it never died so we filled the oil cap with two hands full of gravel and mad it run parked for 20 minutes before the engine diedxD
Dont let Matt to close or it becomes a burnout machine. lol
Is that really a bad thing?!? 😉
@@doc3379could be. Burnout cars get destroyed and this is pretty clean
I'm kinda thinking that's what it's gonna be anyway
@@gerinchambers4787 not wrong
I'm hoping yall get a season 2. Yall are one of my favorite shows on motor trend.
as strange as it may sound I think this might be my favorite thing you built so far
Thinkin' Holden Bros will be featuring a Volvo at LSfest this year 😂

No "AAA" in Mexico? Love the deep look into the build. Thanks for sharing!

You playing guitar makes for a good intro.
Let's see some more guitar playing. Some random vlog videos would be cool too!
Always having fun with the cool vehicles!!! It sounds amazing!!!❤
That is one Horny sounding 240 Wagon!! Well... until you broke it! Get it fixed, Its a RIPPER! #BuiltByBo
Volvo 240's are my bread and butter! We love these old cars and do mostly Volvo content only!
We are gonna have to reach out to y’all. Any rear axle swap recipes? Read a lot about the 8.8 explorer axle
@@holdenbros910 8.8 can work and has a lot of diff options
The TV money is nice but that's why you don't sell out. #notyourway But that's how you learn you'll learn like everyone else did.
First clue something wasn't going to go right was when you closed the hood and the corner lens fell out 🤣
The TV show was great to gain exposure but the freedom of the UA-cam format is WAY better.
I love the steering wheel is nearly upside down. 😂😂😂😂😂
I just snagged a 7 day trial of Motortrend so I can binge the season and look at that, Ranchtang cameo in episode 2.
This was the car I hoped you had kept, when you mentioned that you kept one from the show.
Bring it by Muscle Rod... Brandon will get a kick out of it
That's a cool car! Can't take Willie anywhere.. lol!
Hey, y'all got a cameraman. Video looks good.
This is why you can't have nice things, because Willie breaks them.
Hey....coolist build yet !
Is it a 245 Volvo?
Great build bad break great video thanks Steven and Willy

lmao love it
My last 240 had factory limited slip. Remember these car were built for snow.

I guess this is another example of why we can't have nice things.
Did Stephen at least get to drive it before YOU broke it ? 😏😂

If I didn’t live in Oregon I have a 9” from my old 62 f100 I’d give you for free, was about to scrap it this morning.
There's one on The Skid Factory Channel, the Guy carries spare axles..
Get some suspension from IPD.they make a kit that will make the car not handle like a truck.
Having driven an original Volvo wagon with a diesel, it was the most gutless vehicle I ever drove!
And I also had an orignal VW bug!
The intro was absolutely killer! That’s needs to be the background intro music for all future videos.
Time for a Ford 8.8” to about 800hp or just say screw it and put the 9” in!!
Which begs the question, what happened to all other nine vehicles that you built on the show?
Mount your damn door open/close switch for Christ sake!
I cranked the boost on my Volvo to 18psi and beat a LS GTO
I've wanted to build out a wagon for years
Time for a ford axle
On the right back as they were towing you in, did you come up with a way to blame this on Matt ?
As a Swedish fan of the show I’m happy to see a old Volvo car in the shop!
9 inch for ease and availability. Love the builds👍
Not a sleeper... Swap out the rearend and let 'er rip and find the next weak link.
So cool. I love those old Volvo wagons, and you guys made it better.
An here I thought Matt was the one who always breaks the cars....
I hope to see more seasons on the tv show probably my favorite tv show so far!
Damn Boy!
What an awesome guitar jam! 🤘
turn it into a burnout car and give Matt a run for his money lol
GForce has a good diesel conversion for the LS
That thing is ridiculous!!!! I love it!!
You guys are clown's I love it!
I love how the steering wheel ain't straight.
You guys need a better camera ...
I want that Volvo ❤ 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
Now that was a bad ass intro!👏👏👏
I love them Volvo 245’s❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome TV show you guys ✨✨✨
Still didn't get to drive it...
It’s got two extra doors lol
The reAr end is a Dana 40.
An 8.8 or 9 would be cool
Shreddin the tele on the intro! 🙌
😂😂😂😂 so much fun hu?
Does sound awesome!!
I love volvo’s❤
Now add boost.
Burnout car!
LSD rear end
Boss Wagon 3! maybe 3.5…
ua-cam.com/video/y1tCgpfdA9M/v-deo.html
Man how can you two handle all that fun at 1 time? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
lmaooo Steven rolling coal into Willie as “punishment” for curtailing their fun hahahaha. Bros will be bros.
Omg as a volvo guy this is heaven
