It's definitely because he's black. Why would you mention this if it wasn't the reason? And Sainz isn't even in the same car and was in a faster car last season. The Mercedes next year won't be the same car.

I know it isn’t the “same” car, but it is the car the hamilton would have been in. Mercedes is way behind for now, another “new” car isn’t going to help much. That is partially why hamilton left.
