Hear New Work from The Citizen Collective: Anwen Knight

Did you know the work of the Book Festival stretches way beyond the big event held in August?
All year round, our Communities Programme brings local people and organisations together with professional writers and artists. It’s all about providing a welcoming space where everyone’s voice can be heard. It's about having big conversations, unearthing new stories, and reaching underrepresented communities.
One Communities project is the Citizen Collective - a creative writing group for young people, led by poet Ryan Van Winkle. Anwen Knight from that group shared this beautiful poem as part of our launch event last week. We’re so happy to share it with you today.
