I think it is a bad idea to have the circuit in a place as hot as the distributor. Has anyone had it installed for a while? I don't see videos of a clean start with this module, but I see that some modules are not there, they have problems with the push-button ignition or the remote ignition does not start the car immediately
oem k20 coils are a very low performance. better if you have a option or other variant for smart coil (ign 1a) or a dumb coil so it can be enhance by a cdi box like FT spark or MSD dis4 switching from distributor to cop kit with k20 coils are such a waste money no HP gains just saying.
@@Casey_and_Cars I do my own research the only way k20 cop keep up to 900hp is they lower the spark gap. And I have seen no power gain by swapping to coil cop kit vs standard
He is actually not wrong. A wasted spark system fires two cylinders at once every time even though there's no compressed charge in one of the two cylinders. It is a very common ignition system in motorcycles all the way back to the early 2000s.
Can it be used with haltech elite1500 obd1? Home signal sensor still active in the distributor? Nevermind i found the installation instructions it sounds like it will work because its a hall sensor
Back in the day when i was a kid in 2001 i used to run the msd 6a ignition kit. Look into that not a lot of people ran it.

Can you explain the waste spark mode into detail. Is it bad or good. Can I use it on a stock motor? Can I use it on a daily car?
Not sure why you would put it on wasted spark. It gets half the time to charge the coils since it has to spark twice per cycle.

Yes. It can be used with a completely stock, or aftermarket ecu
