David Corenswet, the new Superman Actor, was the one who convince James Gunn to add the trunks back because he believe Superman despite being an OP alien he wants to not be scary looking for the people or even children and the trunks will make him look goofy but at the same time a friendly superhero. Because of that, it sold me. This is the start of DCU so they added the other heroes but won't be much in screentime but just to introduce them but won't be pull the focus away to Superman.
I love this so much! Reminds of Justice League New Frontier when Batman chose to soften his look so children would be scared of him. Thanks for the awesome info!
There's been a thundering warmth in my chest since seeing this. How long I've missed a Superman who saves the random child in the street, one with obligations and loves and hurts, who enters the final battle knowing he's NOT invulnerable. If you'll excuse me, time to iron my cape.
The new Superman trailer is giving me chills! The visuals are incredible, and the tone feels like a perfect mix of hope and intensity. Can’t wait to see how they bring this iconic hero to life in 2025!

Superman looks a lot like my Grandpa!. Superman huge head size is due to him eating lots of Pastrami sandwiches (as of today Superman probably eats 9 pastrami sandwiches daily) and fried hog's Pork chops!.My Grandpa love to eat that stuff too and Superman looks exactly like him, skin color and all 😮!
I was NOT prepared to see Krypto, WOW! So hyped I already bought shirts for myself, son, and grandson when we see it in theaters. Stop by and checkout my reaction!
Same!! We got our whole family shirts too!! Our son will only be 1&1/2 when it comes out, but I think I’m still gonna take him to a morning show on a weekday just so he can say his first movie was Superman. His middle name is Clark after all.
Just my opinion but the guy in black has to be strong or close to it to Superman so I think it could be a clone created by Lex, a version of Ultraman. If he is a clone- the reveal when his mask comes off is gonna be wild.
A clone of Superman would be really interesting. Especially if Lex uses him as a way to turn people against Superman (as we see in a couple shots of the trailer). That would be pretty wild!

I believe it is a CG dog, but is based off of his real dog’s movements. I think they might have a stand-in on the set, but the final version will be a CG dog. At least thats what I’ve heard. Kinda like what they did fr Rocket in GotG
