jay tell them to make it so if you win the game you get a loot option like when you reach level 20 you get the blue token and get to choose from 3 items if they made it blue rarity and higher it would be nice, its impossible to loot and fight at the same time. Also tell them to not permanently use arrows and consumables make it recover after each run.
The squire can give you back the consumable items like throwing knives, francisca axes, arrows etc. You need to level up the affinity with the NPCs to unlock some of those

Having pve on the map is fine but christ they need to fix the unequal spawns, one side should not get cucked because of a sub boss while the other gets to rush
I think even just making sure there are no sub bosses or anything similar would be a fine enough Change. Mob should always be a part of this game but they also shouldn’t be the primary focus in arena by any stretch.

Ye your right sub bosses shouldnt be in arena
kind of like "defending and attacking" roles, they neeed something to get people fighting or people would sit back and projectile spam endlessly. Rotating 1-2 ranged users while 1 campfired/meditated/healed etc.
The bosses should be well out of the way and optional for a buff or something.

The game has Mobbs in it normally, they a rea factor in every engangment, so they added them here to reflect that and give some classes a fighting chance. Without mobbs to take focus a barb can never push a ranger/wizard lol etc.

The kiddies are always crying it seems , I liked the idea and had a bit of fun with it i think its obvious that the PVE was silly and also need a way to make some profit , it is an extraction game after all .

am i the only one who imagined arena to be a deathmatch type mode? where you can just respawn and get right back into the fight. i think that would bring more players. Sometimes ppl just wanna hop on and catch smoke. And I don’t think this would effect the normal mode either

oh i know that OneCrazyRanger guy he shit on my entire ruins lobby not too long ago, like 14 traps all over the bridge
arena has no gear based matchmaker so if you dont own a full set of well rolled blue/epic minted gear for your charachter you are gate kept from playing the game mode. also it just seems a bit half baked considering the amount of time they put into it and it being basically the only new content aside from the new ruins boss

I agree, it sucks. The longsword is pretty much the only viable melee and I personally dislike using it

@@HordersBeanieno, you get nothing from the runs. you can even loose the gear that is found by you if you die, and sometimes gobby merchant will sell them back to you for ridiculous prices

They should have just made a simple circular map with some obstacles here and there. Probs woulda taken them less than a day.

arena did take them less than a day of actually creating it, they just ctrl+c ctrl+v parts of existing maps while being so lazy they didn't even bother to cut out the pve from it, only thing they added is some UI for showing the scores and that's it

really dislike the pve on arena tbh. also I was hoping for custom gladiatorial style maps tbh instead of just a module from a couple maps.
This just looks like they got arena working and slapped it in the game as is. What is it with these devs and just going with the first iteration of their ideas? Do they have internal testing or are they relying entirely on the playerbase? I'm confused more than upset. How do implement arena like this without actively realizing its not gonna work as you're making it?
they are new developers, with a small team. this is how things work they arent a giant triple a studio sith 500 people

man you would be right if only they had a hmm TEST SERVER TO TEST THINGS ON why are they gate keeping test server to hold the lines. just give hold the line players like 5 red shards and let everyone use the test server becouse right now theres glitches that make you lose kits even if you found them
