I personally believe Shane and Carl would've still have that connection cause Shane was Ricks best friend and he was like an uncle to Carl and most likely his godfather.
Actually, even before they started fucking Shane took Lori and Carl under his own wing as his own because of the respect and friendship they had together. He didn't do it just for Rick, he did it because they were all friends before the outbreak. Lori even brings up the time that Shane fixed their plumbing issue. They were friends regardless and therefore he would still have that bond with Carl and Lori. He wouldn't just treat them as RANDOM group members.
Austin St. Clair Yeah it's true that there still would of been a bond there's no question about that but it would not have been the same bond that occurs in the show and ultimately the Rick and Shane divide most likely would not have occurred but that's in my opinion. I see the point in yours as well though.
True, it wouldn't be as significant, but I still feel that their bonding connection was strong enough where Shane would've still volunteered and did whatever it took to bring those supplies back to Carl. I get it though man, I agree with everything else in the video though.
Lori wasn't strong enough for the ZA 🙅🏾♀️, she still had the housewife mentality and Shane he could have survived up until Negan. It would have been Abraham and Shane killed by Negan definitely. Rick and lori's marriage was over!!! Rick and Michonne would've still happened, Rick needs someone who is strong that'll have his back without any questions!!! Lori doubted Rick way too much.

What if Shane carried Rick over his shoulder getting him out of the hospital. So when Rick finally wakes up he’s inside the RV in the camp.
maybe if Otis lived he would have ended up telling them about Sofia in the barn and they would have left sooner

Austin St. Clair it's all up to interpretation...it's all what-if situations.
I know I'm just saying lol

Randall would have still happened, but Shane wouldn’t die, he only did the Randall thing.
LOVE YOU
