I think he would prefer to stay in the Summer sun in Perth, unless its just Scotlands Perth, in which case set up a go fund me!
To do your badges isn’t cheap, especially the higher up the ladder you go & then there are so many seminars that you need to go on.
Then even if you get all your badges it’s not easy for someone with no inside contacts to get into a pro club, especially at a decent level, it would take a relative ‘no-one’ years to go through doing lots of voluntary coaching at community level before any possibility of working their way up the ladder.
I did mine at 27 but all the seminars required & doing community volunteer work at sports centres basically babysitting is a route to go down when you have given up a lot of time & money to get to that stage.
On saying that, it can open up opportunities abroad, I spent a while in America travelling & coaching & really enjoyed it & while paid, I still came back with less money than I went with! And was asked to go back but at that stage of my life it wasn’t personally worth it.
Ultimately getting your badges you’d hope to be coaching at a decent standard pretty quickly but coming through from grassroots there aren’t enough opportunities to progress adequately to make a career out of it in my opinion.

Wazza was my pinnacle childhood hero, especially when he wore the iconic #8.
He is United’s top goal scorer and was a passionate, clinical, and an absolute aggressive mongrel of a player. Prime example being his thurdercunt strike against Newcastle after chirping to the ref about a missed foul.
Completely underrated player and I’m extremely glad Crouchy saved him from a serious terrorist threat.

I have the Uefa A Licence and it's all about the coaching hours and being involved in a set up that allows you to put the work in at a reasonably decent level. However, one very important thing to note, any licence or diploma definitely does not make people a good coach. When I done my assessment, there was one ex-professional player who was shambolic.
