I already made this bag twice - one when i was just beginning to learn to sew and now three years later. It is easy to make is and the design is very nice. Thank you. I prepared all the materials and the cutting for two hours and sew it for two hours. I'm glad that I am improving. It took me two
days the first time I made it.
I made this great bag, now I have a wonderful travel bag and I am very grateful for the tutorial. It took me quite long but it was so worth it. I experienced a certain problem with some of the measurements, so I would like to recommend one tip based on my experience.
The distance shown on minute 9:28 is 23 cm from bottom to where you stitch the webbing, but I recommend it to be 20 cm. I had to redo that stitch when I nearly finished the bag, and had already stitched the opened part on the linen, because 23cm was too high and could force my handles to rip the bag if the bag was full to the rim with clothes and things. I had to unstitch a lot of work to get back to the handles stitching and unsew and sew it again. So I advice you to avoid this mistake and the height to where you stitch your webbing, keep it lower, stitch it to a 20 cm mark from the bottom, and I think that would help the bag to be stronger and not so prone to ripping were the handles are sewn.

I am trying to make this, it is a great bag, and I have one doubt. On minute 5:04, which is the pocket and which is the sleeve to hold to the suitcase? the smaller piece on the left is the pocket?

I really like this bag! I'm planning to sew a bag like this to take with me when I go in for surgery (all other bags I've looked to buy are either too big or too small; this one's just right! 🙂👍). Someone suggested putting purse feet at the bottom. Any suggestions on how to go about doing that? I'm still new to sewing and haven't honed my skills yet.

does anyone know how much fabric you would need to get to make this bag . like would 1 yard each of outer and inner fabric work , thanks
I’ve made it twice. I think I bought one yard for the upper, one half yard for the base, and one yard for the lining. I also used magnetic snaps the second time because I didn’t like the kam snaps.

There is no specific pattern for this is seems .. only the measurements on which we have to create our own pattern
