A 40 gallon reptile tank works great. That’s what I have for my hamster and a lot of chew toys! Also need a 10 inch wheel so they don’t hurt their back.

Please please please get that hamster a bigger cage or a tub, you can get cheap plastic bins/tubs. It’s not good for a hamster to be in such a small living space, he will also need more toys to chew on (hamsters teeth don’t stop growing) and hides for when he’s scared. It may be a good idea to get a bigger wheel too as small wheels can cause bag problems as he’s growing, I’d recommend watching a few videos on hamsters and how you should set up there cage. This isn’t hate just advice if you want him to live his best life, other than that, great video
Love the eel and the hamster!! The cage is way too small for a Syrian hamster though. You can look up DIY bin cages for hamsters on UA-cam. You should be able to make a great cage. He also needs a wheel to run on but it needs to be a large solid wheel to protect his back and feet. His back shouldn’t arch when he runs on it.
You are right but not entirely. It's not just too small for a Syrian. It's too small for even any dwarf genus of hamsters. These cages should be solely used for transportation

I have my beta - male - in a community tank that is heavily planted. He LOVES the higher flow of my filter system despite what others online say about Beta fish not liking a strong flow. If you add one really pretty male to that tank (after you plant it more) I think they will all be super happy fish!
I know you said you were going to get a bigger cage which you should probably get a 40 gallon tank, I’m not sure what kind of bedding that is but cedar and pine shavings are not SAFE neither is scented bedding, and some people say you shouldn’t use a wheel because there is holes in it to provide air but when their running their limbs can get stuck and break, the wheel is also to small so when the hamster is running it’s back will be curved which can cause problems Syrians need a 9-12 inch wheel that is solid

I have had rats and hamsters several times before I just want to give yours an even better life. That is a Siberian hamster and that plus all types of hamsters need at least a 15-20 gallon TANK, a 10-12 wheel (ALL HAMSTERS NEEDDDD A WHEEL!), chew toys, and at least 5 inches of bedding (not wood bedding! It's not good for their respiratory system!!!)-(USE PAPER BEDDING < NOT SCENTED) This is NOT a hate comment, I just want the best for you and your pet. I hoped this helps change something. Thank you for your time!
Please, if you still want shrimp in that tank, please add more shrimp in there. That snowflake eel specializes in hunting shrimp an fits into tiny cracks just big enough for the shrimp to track them down and eat them. Also you have to feed that eel with tongs or else the other fish will steal his food. Alos feed the eel at night. They are active then. Also that is a snowflake eel, not a banded moray.
The flow will be reduced when you add more plants, And the flow is really only a issue for the long fin males. Coz they are carrying the extra drag from the long fins they can tire fast, but females have shorter fins so there not going to get dragged down like long fin males. If you live in a tropical or sub-tropical place and i beleave Florida is class as sub-tropical a heater is optional rather than needed, as you air temp indoors is not likely to drop to a dangerous level.

Female Bettas are just as bad for biting as males. Sometimes you can get a sorority tank like that (I'm doing it with 4 in my community tank) is recommend a lot more plants and hides though to reduce potential nipping
I made my turtle and his large pleco buddy a new "turtle cove" so they went from a partially filled 40 gallon tank to a 120 gallon inside pond and they love it... added fish too. The pleco now hides all day though :-( So at night I have the lights all out and go in and turn on one light just to catch him out in the pond LOL He is a strange fish - he LOVES when I pet him!
All these fish I am going to tell you is a Must....! Clown trigger , Queen angel , and a Thalassoma wrasse or sunset wrasse , Harlequin tuskfish done!!! Drop the mic

Tie a knot in the hose when your dripping. You want the water to come out slower so it can slowly acclimate.

Yep I’ve had two snowflake eels. My x current one is huge, approx 4 feet. He’s in a really large tank so he’s comfortable but he’s enormous now
The hamster will need a WAY bigger cage with more bedding to burrow in/toys/hideouts. Other than that Great Video!!!
