We are booked for 1 week in mid January and 1 week in late February. We were there last winter. Can’t wait to walk on that beach again. Nice to be able to play pickleball there as well.
The staff told me some of them are available. I haven’t seen anyone there. Not many people at this hotel. And generally lots of hotels in Cuba are 50% occupied. Well I was there ( hotel Tryp Cayo Coco ) in beginning of September. Not full season. The media here warning about food , electricity shortages in Cuba. And I think it discourages people to go there. The towns and villages experiencing that but hotels are usually well supplied.
how about food there? you just posted your video 12 days ago, so assuming you just came back from Cuba. i booked this resort for mid of Jan 2025. thanks
I haven’t stayed at Melia Cayo Coco. I just visited this hotel. I stayed at nearby Tryp Cayo Coco. It’s a 4 star hotel. Some travel agencies present it as 3.5 star. Food was good . I was satisfied. Also no shortage of drinks. No interruptions in electricity. We always had hot water for shower.. We stayed there btw Sept 30th and Nov 6th. I am sure u will have a good time in Melia Cayo Coco.
Melia Cayo Coco looks amazing! Hoping to go there in Feb 2025. Thanks for posting.

Looks very good 😁 but any mosquitoes 🦟 ?
At the time we were there not many mosquitoes . I was bitten a few times but it was tolerable. Didn’t have to use a spray.
