Thanks Karl. Love your videos. Wanted to let you know, you CAN drive the Buttkicker Plus with SimHub just using the USB connection. No additional sound card or audio cables needed. You just select Buttkicker Speakers on the Output Selection. I have not seen any reviewer or the the manf mentioning this.
Thank goodness, I've been planning to purchase this set and the cost of the software to use USB has been rubbing me the wrong way. Thank you for the information
@@dwrek2054 You're welcome! I think they are a great addition for the money.
Great review Karl. I am using 2x Dayton BST-1 underneath my seat on a TR160 with the Sim3D Pedal Rumble Kit on the HE+ Pedals. Great pieces of kit for immersion. It is encouraging to see ButtKicker innovating from the Gamer 2. As an aside, I could not take my attention of the large cup of water sitting nearest all your kit during this review. Made me nervous!! Keep up the great work and keep you kit dry! Regards.
Sim3D kit is great too!
lol Well it had to be there or I could not have shown you the demo that I did! :)
Thanks Karl. I watched 2 of buttk gamer plus reviews. I’m so excited to watch your one now! Amazing!
I recently discovered your channel in my new quest into sim racing. As a complete newbie im really finding it all a bit daunting but your videos are helping me understand it all so keep that content coming ☺
@ now that is something i just have so happend to master lol. This sim racing is a dangerous thing for me somebody that has a very addictive personality lt could all end in tears and divorce lol.
Also check out Boosted Media and Sim Racing Garage.
Between those two channels and Karl, you'll find all the info you need.
Hi Karl, I took your advice and I took the DIY solution, the only thing I would warn folk, I placed two inducers under my Fanatec pedals, unfortunately I think the magnetic field they produced damaged one of the sensors on the pedals. So I guess not to close to sensitive electronics. Regards J.
Not wanting to upgrade from my Gamer2, but this new version pretty much fixes any negatives of the Gamer2. Wireless remote, quick disconnect cables, option for USB audio for those on PC. Definitely worth the extra cost for first time buyers
Should I still upgrade? Looking to get my first. Can snag an excellent used gamer 2 for 192 USD. Budget is currently a little tight. Playing on Xbox.
@@bleugate If your on xbox just grab the gamer 2, you cant make use of the USB auido anyway as its for PC only.
Every time a new Karl video pops up I'm like yes please.
haha I LOVE that at 4:49 it's absolutely something I would do... "No idea what happened here, a moment of confusion" 😂😂😂
Great review man! Lots of good info in this one, and that pacman glass is sweet.
The upgrades from the previous version are pretty big IMO. The USB option that's now available means it'll be easier to use it with headphones(no more voicemeter) and on the old model the remote was attached via a cord, so a wireless remote is a huge upgrade.
I do wonder if they improved the cooling on the amp though.
I'm curious, do you need to run their paid software on PC over USB or will SimHub still work?
Good question, I think sim hub will work as it just shows up as a sound card.
simhub will still work if you use the rca connections, but the haptic software from buttkicker only works with the usb connection.
That's one big glass of vodka!
Had to rewind it a few times to get a good laugh when it scared the crap out of you
Lol. Def need to get one. Maybe order one next week
You don't have to buy the software, the upgrade to ultimate is at a discounted price. You'll receive an e-mail to upgrade for a one time fee of $29.99.
I feel like i need at least one of these now for my rig.
Was definitely getting Jurassic Park vibes when I saw the glass of water 😂
The knob is a low pass and the button will be a high pass. Basically a filter allowing either the low frequencies to pass through (HPF) or low frequencies to pass through (LPF). Usually frequencies as low as 25Hz aren't helpful and can muddy the experience and use a lot of power, so to remove them with the HPF button can make it more efficient. 👍
Nice review and I loved that the table \ camera combo shook more than the water in the glass.😀 Do you still ever use your shaker cushion? Not on your main rig with the proper set up but maybe on the temporary setups you use? It seems a good, simple and relatively cheap option. Four shakers for $250 ish. And just sit on the cushion, no bolts required. I still have mine and like the extra feeling of being in a car (or plane) that's 'alive'. Especially in VR.
I only use my main rig really so the SRS kit doesn't really get used mate no, but it is a great plug and play option for sure! :)
I received the Next Level Racing GT Lite and it took me about a half hour or more to get the back legs onto it because the back pieces of the chair that the legs go into were at least 3" narrower than the two pieces that slot into the seat. I got the legs slotted in there but they refused to slide into it. I eventually used SOAP (a trick I learned when working in a computer shop) on the legs and they went in there. I think they sent me a used item though because the inside box had tares on it and parts of the cockpit were a bit worn looking.
Before bolting my T300 onto it I checked the position of the wheel plate and it's too close to be comfortable for me so I have it at the furthest out it can go. And it feels just right for me , I'm 5" 7" with shortish legs.
I tested it in GT7 for an hour and my wheel feels a lot less shakey and much sturdier in the GT Lite. It might be a placebo but it felt like I could feel more ffb effects through my wheel using the GT Lite. Also the pedal position is perfect for me when it's as far forward as possible with them angled upwards using my old FANATEC CSR ELITE pedals.
I'm not sure if the seat fabric will stretch over time but the center part of the seat pushes up against my back and ass and it makes it slightly uncomfortable.
Oh and after watching your video how to fold it I was able to fold it away and put it away in half the time it takes to put away my wheelstand and chair.
I do like it other than that complete balls he trying to get the back legs on and the center of the seat sticking up further than the sides. It feels much more immersive than using a wheelstand and chair. But I will have to get used to it.
If I didn't find your review on the Next Level Racing GT Lite I would have never known it existed. It's perfect fore because I don't have space for a static cockpit
Seems like a nice system right up to the point where they want to go into your wallet again for access to the software. 👎 So many companies are trying to find ways to double dip their customers. Heck, even with my pickup truck the manufacturer wants me to use a subscription for access to things like remote start. Just ridiculous and a real turn off in a time where prices are increasing on everything daily and wages are not.
Bro these auto manufacturers want to make cars like live service DLC some want to charge you a monthly fee for things like Heated Seats even though you already payed for the hardware that's built into the damn car.
All we have to do is say no with our wallets.
@@Rotary787B wtf? Who designed a car that way. Plus, there would be a UA-cam video about how to override that in two weeks. Voiding the Warranty of course 😂
We got a brand new truck at work and they wanted us to pay a subscription to use the GPS!!!
Just the video I was looking for. I have the gamer 2 with simlab and now installing gamer plus. Do I need multiple amps for multiple plus transducers? One for front and back should be enough for me considering my great experience with one gamer 2.
THANKS 🙏
Would the long mounting bracket on the Gamer 2 give it leverage compared to the short mounting bracket on the Gamer Plus?
Definitely gonna be picking one of these up! Any recommendations on the best way to mount one to a GT omega prime?
I wonder where can you buy it in UK after release? It’s shame for consoles it use only audio and not telemetry signal what would be really cool to have same as on PC. Thank you
Can it be used to simulate the vibration the Xbox controller would produce in any game that supports Xbox controller vibration? I use a flight and pedal setup for racing games but miss having vibrations.
Hi Karl, thanks for that video. I am planning to buy a buttkicker for my SimLab P1X, I am planning to buy one unit at start and eventually a 2nd one at a later time (for front and rear). Would you recommend to buy the pro model for the P1X rig or would the plus model have enough power for that simtig? Thanks in advance and have a nice day...
UPDATE! Free HaptiConnect Standard with PLUS or PRO Purchases.
Hi Karl, off topic, you said that Fanatec prices are going up. Exactly how much by? For instance, a while ago, I had my eye on the Wrc wheel for about £500. Can’t remember if came with pedals. How much more am I looking at paying? Also, is the price increase, permanent? Their prices are high enough and it’s a real bummer about the increase. Lately, seems like everything I want to buy, is sold out , or available then gets sold out, before I get chance to buy. I hate feeling pressured to buy something now .
I don't have the sort of detail Graham sorry, the email just said from the 17th and the only things unaffected would be wheel bases (sold alone).
Cheers Karl. To be honest, that's going to become pricey and incredibly cluttered considering each amp is huge and single channel. My advice to viewers is to consider a cheap Nobsound amp from amazon (about the size of a fag packet) and a good quality transducer from Dayton, etc. The same single channel setup for diy-ers would only cost around 90 quid plus a fiver for simhub software. If you do a 4 or more channel rig, you could save hundreds. It's still a set and forget setup.
@@KarlGosling Sorry Karl I did mean to mention that you'd done your own DIY build. I wasn't trying to hijack your review. I'm just surprised Buttkicker wouldn't build a multichannel amp at this price considering the size of the actual chassis. They're a big name in this particular market but that system just doesn't seem to be proper value for money considering how relatively simple it is to go the DIY route.
@Musicbox Entertainment Depending on how many transducers you want to use (based on 2 Transducers for front and rear bumps, etc) You will need:
1 stereo amp (nobsound 1002p from Amazon) 70 quid for instance but it ideally needs to have a low pass filter to block high frequencies coz all you need is low frequency really. I bought 2x nobsound sub amps for 28 quid each - pro's : they do what I needed. Cons - I needed 2 because they're both Mono.
Banana plugs for amp connection
Speaker wire (amazon basics is fine) 10 quid for 100 feet
Creative Blaster Audigy Fx 5.1 PCIe Sound Card - You need to send audio to the transducer but you also need to out put sound to your pc speakers so the 5.1 souncard is used for transducer channels ONLY. Your onboard mobo (or whatever you use) sound continues to power speakers as usual and remains at default. Simhub will ask you which sound source you want to use.
1 or more Transducers. I purchased a Dayton Audio BST-1 from sound imports and another no-name one of around the same output. One is hard connected to the seat back and the other to the pedal plate. You'll need to spend time experimenting on best placement. Aluminium is a dead metal so it doesn't transmit vibration at all well in my experience so you'll need to place the transducer(s) carefully for best effect. Also don't overload them with power or effects. 1 or 2 effects per transducer are best. Less is more. Set the amp(s) to around 1/3rd volume and leave them alone.
1x 3.5mm to rca lead (or 3.5 to 3.5) check connections on amp.
Simhub - buy a license (5 quid) and experiment. Lots of youtube vid watching is needed to set best volume but also frequency curves. It all sounds difficult and it may be a bit daunting but once you understand what does what, it's easy (ish).
Let me know if you need more info
The output the buttkicker transducers can put out is a lot more than Daytona's. The buttkicker can take 250 watts. The low freq they can pass is also much lower than Daytona's IIRC.
@@mynameisprivate158 Definately. But I can guarantee you wouldn't want 250 watts transferring directly through the seat and up your spine. It'd be horrible. Yes there's a nice overhead but for effective cost, use 100 watt amp and transducer. Even then, the full potential or power still won't be used unless it's being bolted to the aluminium rig which, from my tests at least, dampened the output by around 70% which is too much of a loss. Correct placement is key here. Power not so much. Subtle feels are what I found to be most realistic. The slight BRRRR of kerbs and track bumps, etc.
Can you connect 2 shaker on one amplifier? The amplifier that comes with the kit
Do you think the software you put the code in is equivalent to sim hub software, or was more options or better functions available with the buttkicker haptic connect software.
Sim Hub supports way more, Hapti Connect only works with Butt Kicker products.
Did you find that the buttkicker software gave more options or a better feeling than sim hub software?
I have a P1 sim rig. Do you think the gamer plus on each corner would be powerful enough? Should I look at the Pro model for extra punch?
Man, ButtKicker is really trying to make a statement amongst the Sim Racing community. I use 6 on my rig, and I don't race without them running, it really does have a huge impact on immersion.
@Karl Gosling I hear you buddy, I totally agree with you. Keep up the great work.
@@jeremymartinez6024 Sorry buddy, I only just saw your question. The amplifier with the "Gamer Plus" system was only meant to run the one transducer with the kit. So if you were to buy one, then decided to purchase another, you will then have two Buttkicker transducers along with two amplifiers. If you were to end up with 6 transducers like myself, you would then need to power the 6 amplifiers as well. This will definitely use more AC power than the single 6-channel amplifier that I use to power all of my 6 Buttkickers, plus my one amplifier also takes up less space for an overall neater looking setup.
Having the butt kicker 2 I would not replace it for this one also the game you use makes a difference on how well it works excellent on need for speed shift & project cars 1 but not as intense on project cars 2 & acc & gran turismo that's what I noticed
I spoke to the buttkicker rep you can’t Dixie chain the transducer with the one amp. One amp and one transducer. This probably the cheapest purchase for any sim racer that adds way more detail and immersion. I will like to try what you have in your setup with multiple transducers
Can you pair two buttkickers left & right for ps5? Is it even worth it to get two for left and right tires. Or one is enough?
Love your channel man! Can you tell me if the Gamer 2 would work effectively on a GT lite? Does it still travel well on a sling type chair like that? Thanks! 🤙
Karl, I have 2 Buttkicker Gamer Pro transducers. Purchased them before I started running the Lo Slider setup from Race@Home. I’m wondering if you recommend using the transducers since I’m running a 6 DOF rig. Will I feel them much? They are installed one in front and the second in the back. I’m also wondering if I use them what software should I run them on. I’m currently using the SRS shaker premium software for the buttkickers and they seem to be very weak and don’t transmit much information to my rig on iRacing. I’m pretty certain it’s a software issue. I did add a second sound card just for them. They are connected with the 3.5mm plugs. I’m contemplating trying the Hapticonnect software and using the USB connection instead. Any help is appreciated. I’m pretty sure it’s not clipping, but just mediocre SRS shaker software integration with the buttkickers. I am using the LFE effect in iRacing to the buttkickers and not my 5.1 surround system for the rig.
I personally don't run tactiles after going 5 DOF as the vertical actuators can replicate real movement (vibration) so I don't see a need... also too much going on all at the same time could get very messy and not feel good at all! Thats not to say they cannot add something if setup right, but it's not for me.
4:50 I think you were still confused while editing, a "low pass filter" would *pass* through *low* frequencies, and filter out high frequencies. Thus the mentioned ( 9:34 ) "low filter cutoff" is indeed a high pass filter. :P
I think the problem stems from that 'high pass', 'low cut', and 'low filter' are the same thing, and especially in consumer hardware it's a coin toss from device to device which one got used.
I work in video editing, but still need to often take a beat to double check my brain about which filter I actually wanted to be using. :)
Hey Karl.
Which haptic would you recommend for an Omega Classic/PS5/GT7 setup?
Thanks.
I believe with consoles (I don't have one) you can only run them as audio shakers, so basically a sub, in which case anything that you can bolt on mate.
Hi Karl, i have the GT Omega Titan, would the BK Gamer Plus work ok attached to the gear stick mount on the rig as the tubing on the main rig is pretty thick?
I've not tried that idea and would probably DIY it under my seat somehow mate.
Does buttkicker or any type like that setup offered or available for console use?..ps4 ps5 or Xbox? Vibration like that is new to me was just curious if anything like that for console users.
Yes this does, but functionality is limited to working as a silent sub woofer and not from game telemetry (with the exception of F1 2021 IIRC).
@@KarlGosling I understand that, what do you suggest for console use?
Hi Karl. How do you feel about the butt kicker now after a few months, is it a novelty or a good job as I'm thinking of purchasing for myself for xmas ?
I've ran tactile transducers for years mate so love them, they are what I would call an essential add-on after getting a good cockpit, wheel and pedals.
Karl or/and viewers, i am on Ps5 and also are using a Usb dongle for the headset. Great video Karl, but FYI, the Hapticonnect software comes with the Plus and Pro models.

I've still yet to get a simrig, but I always thought that having 4 Buttkickers, 1 to represent each wheel, sounded like the most logical thing to do when I do get into simracing...
That would be so nice! but it just seems like alot of amps and alot of cooling ! These babies get spicy after a so much vibrantion.
I did see a review about the buttkicker and the tester said the software was not good and what about the import cost
Hey mate, if you don't mind me asking.. How have you pieced together your Bezel Free Kits? - Really wanna get ehm, but I'm on 55's too and don't wanna burn that amount of money and then end up ruining them cuz I've got no clue how to "link" them together lol.
Use the included brackets top and bottom then sit one on top of the other using a knot of cotton to pull tension at the join and fed back through the tiny gap between the TV's with tape then holding the tension from the back... very fiddly but it works! lol
I love how you reply to every comment mate, you've helped my so much regarding my setup. Once it's all done I'll be sure to share it :D Have a great day bro!
I am happy I did not fall for the Buttkicker hype, but for the bass shakers Reckhorn/Nobsound solution.
Mainly because so many users complained about the amp of the buttkickers failing after a while.
The tiny nobsound 100W amp with the build in Bluetooth soundcard with USB, 45€ is great,
I use it at 100% volume in Windows & Simhub, but only 50% knob volume and it stays cool.
Bluetooth can't be used though, too much lag.
The most effective use is under the pedals, to feel the wheels block, and the wheels sliding. ( any of the four)
And it really helped me to avoid spinning off the track at tricky places where I never understand why I loose grip.
What I now understand, and it's a little bit disappointing, is that haptic is only vibration, not pauses between vibrations, or lack of vibration.
But a wheel would vibrate as long as it has grip on the road, while the tire sidewall deform, flex and relaxe under lateral forces.
This is well simulated in rFactor 2 on DD Wheels.
Vibration is before it slides, when it slides there should be no vibration (feel of aquaplaning), and than vibrate again when it regains grip.
A kind of inversed haptic feeling, where the information of sliding results from no vibration.
And as far as I played around Simhub, inversed vibration effect can't be done, or can it ?
BTW, I abandoned the option to put the transducers vertically to the edges of my rig.
The vibrations went from on side to the others, and I could not tell what side they were coming from.
That's the problem of bass effects. You can't tell were low frequency vibrations come from as they travel through materials and air,
which is also an advantage, a subwoofer can be placed hidden anywhere in a room, and you won't be able to tell where the bass comes from.
If I go for a cheaper solution with more than 2 bass shakers I would go for the
Bodyshaker 100 Watt Rockwood (4x19€) (open bass shaker needs soldering the sound cables)
2 more Nobsound Mini Bluetooth 5.0 Digital Power Amplifier (including the sound card) (90€)
About 170€
I have an USB Hub and a powerstrip on my movable (not moving) rig on wheels, only 2 cables to leave the rig, the Monitors /43"TV's wall mounted.
Perfect to keep it clean easily..
Which brings me to another solution which I tried, when you don't mind about 12 cables leaving the rig to the amp.
TV's may an dolby digital optical out, report a 5.1 sound card to windows through HDMI, and amps have an 5.1 dolby digital optical in.
You can check how many channels the TV sound card reports to Simhub.
It's possible to buy a cheap used amp for 60€ and 6 Rockwood Bodyshakers and have a full 6haptic system (4 on corners/wheels, 1 under the seat, 1 under the pedals)
for 200€ (added 10€ for wires, and 10€ the donation to Simhub). Honestly, I never thought it could be that cheap for so much immersion.
And very much fun tinkering too, not complicated at all.
With the possibility to keep the effects separate and clear with Simhub, that's a much much better solution than a mono buttkicker which drowns with multiple effects, and way less expensive if you buy 2 or more buttkickers.
I would gladly hear experiences how to isolate the vibrations of each transducer on the corners, that seems to me the most important issue.
Maybe with rubber rings, or mounting transducers horizontally, or away from each other, to keep the vibrations most localisable.
Its not so much that the amp fails in the BK2, they fixed that issue along time ago. The issue is that the BK after what I would consider normal use heats and up and cuts out. It is so distracting when it happens in the middle of a race.
If that has been fixed I would be interested but not much true info except all the paid reviewers that got them for nothing around May and used them for 2 seconds and gave it positive reviews
as much as i'd like transducers this price is ridiculous
I have 4 textile translucers the 2 front and rear that are on the same sound card are a whole lot stronger than the 2 other ones left and right that are on a different sound card. Any tips?
If they are identical transducers then perhaps the volumes are not matched?
Do you use an amplifier? The internal power of soundcards is quite low.
@@alphastratus6623 yes. I running a buttkicker Amp. It seems like the signal that's coming out from the soundcard is weak because I've tried swapping the front and rear Butt kickers to the xternal sound card also and the vibration Intensity is still a lot weaker. Not Sure if it's because of the external sound card. I've tried using a different one but getting the same results.
@@mercenarysaw Do you use a standard audio amp (multi cannel)? These amps by butkicker looks like single chanel, but you say you have multiple of these.
Are you shure they have the same Ohm number? Or the amps are capable of the ohm of the devices?
What is the height of the whole clamping?
Not the diameter
How about durability of ButtKicker Gamer Plus? in internet there are some informations about its amplifier failures...
What's the difference between this one and the previous buttkicker, which I thought was 200$ USD? Is this an updated version?
From one of the comments above... "Not wanting to upgrade from my Gamer2, but this new version pretty much fixes any negatives of the Gamer2. Wireless remote, quick disconnect cables, option for USB audio for those on PC. Definitely worth the extra cost for first time buyers"
I wish they sold the transducers on their own. I wouldn't trust their amps after the experience I had with the previous model (BK Gamer2) where the amp just did not work for more than about 30 seconds and had to be replaced with a 3rd party mono amp from Amazon. (Seems a very common issue with lots of threads about it, and they kept on selling it for years. It was also really badly designed and would forget the volume you set every time you powered it off, requiring you to click the awful wired remote loads of times to get it back to where you wanted it each time.) The transducers themselves are good, and it's nice to see they have 80/20 mounting options on these now, but I don't trust the amps at all. And the idea of having to pay significant money for drivers which replicate what shareware software (which I already own!) does is ridiculous, given the price of the package.
Yeah for most of us the DIY option is better I think, this is only really for people who have no clue how to wire things up or chose the correct parts in the first place.
These transducers are no better than what I used DIY so just buy those instead, they also bolt straight on to profile with M6 T nuts :)
@@KarlGosling Yeah, not having to worry about matching amp specs etc. is a good thing for sure, for many people. Similar with DIY wind setups where you have to match fan power specs to controller outputs (and most of the guides out there seem to mismatch them, but maybe it works out OK as long as they aren't flat out). IDK if I trust BK to deliver that convenience, though. My experience with the Gamer2 was I paid for a bundled amp that literally doesn't work and then had to research what to replace it with and pay for the replacement, so it added hassle rather than removing it. Maybe the new one is better, IDK, but I'd just DIY it instead of buy anything from that company ever again.
Hey Karl, do you use this with your motion rig?
No need mate, tactile transducers simulate movement with vibrations... if you have movement you don't need to simulate it.
Fuck mate, keep it coming, I don't really youtube and you are one of my couple of subscriptions. You don't know this expat Welshie, but man I could watch your vids for hours and they only expand what I know, don't ever stop...Fucking M8 nuts? Mate you're a legend. ;)
My ButtKicker Gamer Plus arrived a couple of days ago. I excitedly bolted it to the underside of the seat on my GT Omega Prime and fired up ACC.
The day after I bought a 20mm thick kneeling mat from ScrewFix and chopped it up into 12 squares, so now the rig's 6 feet are sat on 40mm (ish) of hard (ish) foam in an attempt to isolate the sound this thing produces from the rest of my house!
The loud metallic bangs it emits are horrendous.
I'm in a bedroom above a dining room and the sound coming through the ceiling in there is ridiculous.
I'm using SimHub and have tweaked and tweaked with no luck.
I'll have a few more tweaks over the next day or so but I fear I've bought what I think is the worst bit of kit imaginable.
All that said I love your reviews, Karl.
But, buyers beware, if your rig is in a house that other people reside in then prepare for domestics.
Ps. I've tried the 'underlay inside the end caps' fix and moved it to two other locations on my rig with no improvement.
One option might be to move into the shed at the bottom of my garden!!
If there are loud metallic bangs then you are running it way too hard mate, thats the sound if the weight inside hitting the housing, turn it down before it gets damaged!!
You should not be hearing anything, just feeling very low rumbles and vibrations.
@@KarlGosling Nice one for the reply mate. I think I had it plugged in wrong!
I still can't get the thing to work properly tho. I'm using a HyperX USB headset and during gear changes there seems to be some sort of static feedback going on. I also can't seem to get it running through SimHub.

@@KarlGosling I've tried to explain to her its meant for my Sim Rig 🤣👁
For $280 I can buy a couple amps and have a good 6 to 8 tactile transducers all around my rig, not just one.
You can't mate, a good transducer (like this one) is £50+ on it's own.
But I agree a DIY setup can give much better value.
Throughout the video, I am afraid you really mixed up your filter terminology. First you are talking about "High cutoff" calling it a "high-pass filter" while it is actually a low-pass filter: it CUTS OFF high frequencies, it PASSES THROUGH low frequencies. Then the 25 Hz filter is called low cutoff on the amp, and it is actually a high pass filter, it blocks stuff below 25 Hz and passes through frequencies above that.
I think that Buttkicker purposefully avoided the high-pass/low-pass terminology and used low cutoff/high cutoff instead, because the classic "-pass" terminology is confusing to most people. Thet tend to conceptualize a filter it terms of frequencies it affects, not the ones it does not touch, i.e. passes through.
Also, I am not fully convinced by your argument about the speaker having hard time passing too many frequencies at a time. Waves of different frequencies generally superimpose without a problem, think of a headphone - a single speaker - playing audio of full orchestra at the same time. Many many frequencies. My suspicion is that it may be more of a limitation of our tactile perception than of the speaker when multiple streams appear muddied when together.
But very nice video, as usual, apologies that my comment was mostly criticism. I really like your videos, I think your delivery and voice and manner of speaking are fantastic. I am about to order my Gamer Plus in a moment.
Oh, and the software is now included, not a separate purchase.
Dont buy buttkicker products. Mine stopped working after a little over a year. Have to replace amp, warranty only one year! Dont buy unless you are happy to see it die after a short while! Only help from support was turn it off, or replace it. What a waste of hard earned cash!
What happened to the comment I saw about cheaper options that are available too? Did you delete it? Oh dear, it upsets me to see creators selling their souls. 😢
Cheers.
Oh dear, it upsets me to see viewers jump to incorrect and insulting conclusions without having a clue what they are talking about... and yet here we are 😥
I do not delete comments unless someone is being abusive to either myself or others so no I have not deleted a comment about cheaper options, in fact if you had actually paid attention to the video I talk about my own DIY 4 channel setup and even tell you the brand of transducer I use and direct you watch my review of them.
@@KarlGosling Gosh you seem to have got so pointy about this. He didn't deserve that!
Woojer vest is the business. Having tried and tested this on Forza horizon 5 and GT7 probably a cheaper alternative at £350 that has x6 osci transducers giving 360 degrees of sensations. Currently 30% off at the moment
If you're on console you are only using it as a bass shaker (a sub) so it doesn't matter where you put it or how many you have other than extra "volume".
What would be the best way to run this with a PS5 for GT7 ? HDMI audio extractor ?
Got told to replace my amp by buttkicker support. Bought one. Still doesnt work. Brilliant waste of money!!!!
Hi Karl, what would be the best way to attach this to a gt omega titan with XL rs? Thanks
Karl, I recently discovered your channel after the release of Gran Turismo 7 and a PC I recently built I started looking into options for a more immersive virtual Racing experience.
Your knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the hobby really shows in the videos you make they're very informative and entertaining.
I bought myself a sim setup with a GT Omega Prime Cockpit, a Fanatec GT DD Pro kit with the 8NM Boost kit,Load Cell Brake pedal along with the Clubsport Shifter SQ and the Handbrake.
Your videos largely helped me select the products I wanted to go with.
I had been wanting to get a Sim racing Rig setup for a number of years after initially dabbling with a Logitech G27 wheel I used back during the PS3 Gran Turismo era.
I'll be looking into this Butt kicker product,
Wanted to express my gratitude for all the knowledge and product reviews you've done keep up the great work man👍
Very kind of you to comment mate thanks! :)
