मैं अपने गाँव जाता हूँ । वहाँ पे kitchen से निकला हुआ waste जैसे की सब्ज़ी फलो के छिलके बचा हुआ खाना चाय पत्ती इत्यादि को एक container या बाल्टी में इकट्ठा करते हैं और पशुओं जैसे की गाय या बैल को खिला देते हैं वो उसको डाइजेस्ट करके cow dung (गोबर) के रूप में बदल देते हैं जिसको गाँव वाले इकट्ठा करके एक गड्ढे में भरते रहते हैं जो की compost(खाद) बन जाता है और उसको खेतों में प्रयोग करते हैं ।
शहर में ये सब इकट्ठा करके या तो नली/गटर में बहा देते हैं या garbage collection वाले इसको ले जा के कूड़े का पहाड़ बना देते हैं।
बचे हुए या पुराने कपड़ों की या तो चारपाई पे बिछाने वाली दरी(mat) बना लेते हैं या फिर बारीक काट के तकिये(pillow) में भर लेते है।
शहर में लोग कपड़े या तो दान करते हैं या यूही फ़ेक देते हैं ।
rain water harvesting की ज़रूरत ही नहीं पड़ती क्यूकी गाँव में काफ़ी जगह कच्ची होती है पानी रिस के ख़ुद ही ज़मीन में चला जाता है और underground water level बना रहता है। और हर गाँव में एक तालाब ज़रूर होता है जिसमें पूरे गाँव ka पानी जाता है जो पूरे साल ground water recharge करता रहता है।
शहर एक concrete का जंगल है, पानी ज़मीन के अंदर जाता ही नहीं। घरों से निकल के नाले में fir नदी में । नादियो का water level और ultimately समुद्र का water level बढ़ रहा है।
गार्डन गाँव में होते नहीं हैं या तो खेत हैं या लोगो के घेर(जहां थोड़े फल सब्ज़ी उगाते हैं और पशुओं को पालते हैं) इस जगह पे जो भी पत्ते गिरते हैं वही दोबारा से मिट्टी में mix हो जाते हैं जब भी उस कियारी/खेत को फिर से खुदाई करके बीज बोने के लिए तैयार किया जाता है।
waste का सबसे बड़ा कारण हैं शहरीकरण(Urbanization) है ।
शहर में रहने वाले कृप्या आहत ना हो, ये मेरा व्यक्तिगत विचार है (it’s my perception)

Kudos to residents of Navjeevan colony! What a wonderful effort to reduce waste and create your own enhanced soil. Also great to reuse clothes, reduce water waste etc. It takes a lot of effort. We in Canada, seperate our waste as well. And it takes a lot of effort. We are doing it on a municipal level. For the colony to make its own efforts is very commendable.

Subah chir dete gau mata aur bachriyon ko kura aur kachra khane ke liye yahan ke local milk business(kasai)man. ..
