Creating InfraWorks annotation/labels using TXTEXP in Civil 3D

In this (10 min) video, I show how to explode Civil 3D text objects into native AutoCAD entities. Once they become AutoCAD geometry we can accomplish some really creative things including exporting them back to InfraWorks to create annotation.

Hi Jerry, thanks for your informative videos. I would like to add a tip to this video regarding the explode command. Once the Civil 3d Annotations were exploded and became blocks. Explode > P (Previous ) will also work instead of selecting by window again. - Ron

its a shame they took the fbx export option out of civil3d. its far better to have the ability to export them as a 3d extrusion and resize etc
