The big problem on console Stray is that (for me) its impossible play every character cause i get crazy crazy focused every single game i swear. For example at 27:08 when that Nejire didnt try to kill u on console (for me) that never happens😂 i always get focused and its impossible play cause people use OP characters and then u are forced to use them too for try to win a game. For example i dont like use red dabi i would prefer to use Mic or Kiri but its impossible cause i always get people that focus me till the end of the world with OP characters I understand when u say if u dont play with ACE ranks u will never get better but when u have lobbies full of ace ranks that are idk top 1 top 2 in the ranking and use op characters its impossible to play so i will never get better if i get destroyed in 2 seconds cause they also do crazy combos cause they play in team toghether But this is just my experience and my opinion Love your videos Stray and thank you for all u do❤

He is a very strong character, but he pretty much doesn’t have turning and he came out in a time with three different banners. This kind of reminds me of the OG rapid bakugo very little people played him and he was very strong

some of my best games are on present mic, he’s genuinely fun to play for me as someone who likes to have range (alpha oriented with beta to catch others off guard) but also can scrap up close (beta -> gamma my beloved). i just think its easier to get results with some of the common top tier characters as opposed to him, making him less played.

Love Pmic, I don't play him much anymore I guess because he's straight forward and powerful in the right hands. I got 10bomb 6k for him on the first day I got him. Love him in the anime and in the game 🙌
People dont play him because he's "balanced", in a game where stuns are either super easy to hit, do ludicrous damage, have super armor, or go super far. Mic's kit is super balanced comparatively. Like both the characters that released during ani, rapid toga has 5 stuns max level with a big alpha that melts you (her stuns also still come out even of you trade with her) while hawks has his beta and super strong alpha. Mic needs his boombox while his beta and gamma have no armor and are relatively slow compared to other characters, so he can easily get beaten out, on top of below average mobility. Fun asf character though reminds me a bit of strike shoto.
I don't know if you've had this but I had one game where the opponents hawks beta was either glitched or hacking, they weren't making you stagger when hit so they would basically stun lock you like season 7. Don't know if it was hacks or glitched
Had an epic moment with Mic yesterday where a Hawks flew to the highest he could go and I sniped him with the Beta and i thought of you. Really wish I could have saved it because I was going crazy lol

i have present mic and the reason i do not play him is that i find his skills quite boring. it's not like i am bad with him either - i always have high dmg and high KO games with him. ( i am a console player)
I have Mic and the only reasons why I don't play him much are: 1. His T.U.N.I.N.G System limitation (skins) 2. The turning on his Beta is too slow 3. His movement isn't the best (I play on Switch so in order to not have my controller drift early on, I don't use Dash or its variants, and Gamma's distance and involuntary homing ruins its movement) I think Mic is still a good option with his power and gimmick but Nejire is a "better" version of Mic and Endev in a few ways which is why I think that's where all the Mic people went to.
I'm on PC as well, he's on every team comp that runs all red characters that end up melting everyone in a matter of seconds. Maybe not that common, but extremely annoying to say the least
You hardly see him at all on console, and he's only really effective if he's got a boombox in an open area or if he's up close to hit you with his beta and go from there.
In my unranked games I can get on average 7-10 kos but in ranked games I can't cover my teammates to support em to do damage. Cause that said. Easy combo, is beta alpha alpha gamma.
Yeah if you can get his moves down and keep distance his a animal i think its mainly because once your team rushes to death that its hard to survive solo in team matches

I've decided to main mic sence he dropped and overall, he would be amazing if not for a couple glaring issues that stops a lot of people from playing him. 1. No high rarity costume which sucks for this patch especially cause he doesn't get good access to high value buffs, which a lot of people want to use right now 2. He lacks any team utility that basically any other character has. His kit is very selfish which does make him a good solo character but he doesn't provide any utility to his team but raw damage. 3. He gets easily overwhelmed. It's way to common for him to have extreme difficulty dealing with multiple enemies unless you catch them by suprise. This is especially a problem when trying to escape (especially on the old map) withsuch limited mobility. Sadly it doesn't seem like the devs are interested in remedying these problems unless they drop a casual style mic with the kurogiri banner to fix the first problem.

I can’t really say this for everyone else, but the main reason I don’t play as him is just because I really don’t want to. I don’t hate present mic, I first time I played as him after pulling him I won immediately, but I rather play other characters I actually like than a character I feel kinda “meh” about.
I wasn’t playing the game during the anniversary but when they revealed present Mic was joining Hawks I was just like “okay”. Like he’s cool and all but he’s just not headliner worthy, especially next to Hawks. My point is he’s just not that popular of a character. It doesn’t matter if he’s good. People would rather play as red Dabi or purple Shoto because they like them, and are better than Mic (in my opinion).
