How would you have handled Gareth Bale's case if you were at the head of Real Madrid?

To be fair, Zidane as the manager should've stepped up and benched Bale when he wasn't %100.

If they're in the same room, they'll shake hands, sit down and talk about the differences or the problem between them. They're both an adult, they won't act childish. Since they are adults they can withstand their hatred (and they have to do it otherwise they'd lose their job), but this doesn't prove they hate each other. I do think their issue is personal since Zidane barely gives Bale minutes in La Liga and La Copa de España even though Bale was fit all if not most of the time. I don't recall Bale having any injuries during the 2019-2020 season.

We've seen lots of similar situation like that where the player wants more playing time but the manager won't let it. For example, Özil at Arsenal. In the end, we will never know if Zidane and Bale hate each other. If you take into account the events described in the video you can make a compelling case that there's a personal problem between the two, but this is still not enough evidence to say with certainty they hate each other. You didn't change my mind but it was nice having a little discussion.

I belive the one who loses more is Gareth Bale. Because even if Real Madrid loses a lot of money because of him , Gareth Bale loses something more important and that is TIME. He is losing his time in which he could played football instead of being on the bench for one of the best clubs in the world. I'm sure that Real Madrid can earn back those money pretty quick ... while Gareth Bale will never get his TIME back for sure.

Agree, Bale is getting older and his price market is definitely getting lower. If he wants to revive his career, the only way to do is to take a pay cut which is sucks for an aging playing and the probability for him give an impact to each game definitely not high, unless hes ronaldo.
@Adham Elyamany well you can say that too about other players that has/had better careers than him. CR7, Messi, Brazilian Ronaldo, Ramos, Beckham, Zidane and others.. They've won competitions, they've had record-breaking fees, they've also been boed on the pitch & they've also been disappointed by various managements. But they kept on playing like a pro. A good example is Neymar, he's got a really bad party attitude off the pitch that affects everyone else on the team, he's been boed by his own fan & he's been unwanted by the owner & club management. But he still plays his best, trains hard & support his team when off the pitch like an animal whether it's watching them play at home or fighting with a supporter. It's a bit much but the point is he doesn't sulk and make premature decisions like bale.

His main and huge issue, or weakness if you would call it that, is that he does not have a world class striker and goal scorer. Zidane surely misses CR7.
Real's huge weakness is that they have not been able to replace CR7 and since CR7 ran away to Juventus Real has not been able to score goals and they keep struggling to score goals.
My prediction is that Real Madrid will suffer this coming season, and will keep struggling to score goals.
Real Madrid must bring in top-class scorers if they wish to stay as winners and champions.
Eden Hazard has been a huge flop and a very big disappointment for Real Madrid. I am sure Chelsea is thrilled and ecstatic that they got so much undeserved millions by trading often-injured Hazard to Real Madrid.
Real must get a lot smarter and stop over-paying for often-injured players who do not produce.....like Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard.
Gareth became injury prone at Real Madrid though. Hazard is nearly the same age as Bale, and I never understood why Perez thought that he was a good investment since he's already at a decline. He's not a matchmaker and never will be.

I really hope and wish that you are right as Real needs good scoring strikers.
But my prediction that Real will be struggling offensively this season was very accurate in yesterday's game (on 9/20/20 vs Real Sociedad) where the final result was 0-0, Real just cannot score. I very surprised that during this past off-season they did not get any new strikers, they seem to be resigned to stay with their current line-up which I truly believe is a huge mistake.
The way things are right now I doubt very much that Real Madrid is going to win any silver trophies this coming season, nothing, zilch, nada.
I am an avid Real Madrid fan, and I want the best for them, I want them to win all the time, but I am also a realist and do see the writing on the wall.

The core of the problem is Bale's injuries you do not expect to be a starter after missing half the season and while the manager already change his tactics and implemented other players for your role even if your scored in finals, it's Real Madrid only the fit, most talented can play at Real unfortunately he lack the first one

...hate is a strong word. They both have strong personalities, neither willing to cede their stance. It will be an interesting 2020/2021 for Gareth Bale, as he ages, his physique and conditioning will decline while sitting on the bench. A real shame.

I think here the problem is with Bale's professionalism. A player to insist he is fit and gets himself into a worse condition is not something that a club of Madrid's stature really expects.
And him being happy to move to China at this age (despite of his recurrent injuries), clearly shows how competitive he is. Finally all his open reactions on the club that pays him are not signs of a good professional.
