I’ve been doing AJPW and NJPW from inception on, I’m about to start ‘89, and it’s been awesome. And then there’s still stuff like Smoky Mountain that I need to watch!

If you wanna transfer your tapes to digital, get a Sanyo GVR-S950. It’s a non commercial pro deck made to hook up to a computer to do transfers. The manual comes in a binder. I didn’t say it’s not gonna be work, but it’s made for transfer. The cheap gimmicks on eBay have issues and don’t play well with many decks, you’d need a video stabilizer or time base corrector if it’s copyright tape, pain in the ass. There are tapes still out there, and decks, most ppl don’t know how they work anymore 😁 hope that helps

He will continue to talk s as long as people want to listen, And who can blame him he's really found his place in the modern wrestling world.

Do any of the rest of the listeners ever find themselves using ‘Corny-ism’s’ in everyday conversation? I was talking to a friend of mine who was trying (and failing) to fix the exhaust on his car. As the struggle continued, without thinking I said “Well you know what they say, you can’t polish a turd”. I’ve only heard Jim use that phrase and I never said it before in my life.
I write them down, I've got a long list now, I've been writing them for a few years now. I try to use them but I just want to collect them

I learned once on PBS that raccoons are ridiculously slow moving and methodical creatures. Over the course of an entire day, they might travel a half mile. So they mostly spend their entire lives in the same place.
If they would stop doing reviews and just talk classic wrestling and Jim's home life, 'd love the show even more.

The wrestling business seems as much of a cluster fuck right now as my kidney infection. (turns out... I can walk on my own again. Just took finding out I had a number of misdiagnosed issues for 10 years that almost killed me. haha.) Holy crap if I didn't have this show to keep me sane through it, I tell ya. I normally keep my head out of the dirt-sheets for the most part. But Holy Snappin' Craps what a month. lol

@@allamaraine8066 Think you! 🤘 One day at a time. This time last year before they caught the infection, they told me I had a chronic pain syndrome that would prevent me from walking on my own again.
Let's just say they were flat out wrong. It was misdiagnosed as of 11 years ago (I was 28 I'm now 39) and the infection got bad enough it almost killed me. Which pretty much forced the proper diagnosis finally.
So I'm healing up and I'm able to walk on my own again, and it's been pretty wild getting my life back.
This may very well be the last shoot comment everyone sees from me because... Holy shit I've got some catching up to do! And everyone might be seeing me all over the place real soon.
Thanks to my passions for keeping me sane. Never take your health for granted. And when it comes to doctors... you know when something is wrong with you. Don't take no for an answer because it could needlessly take away your prime years.

By the literal definition of "insider trading" of course it was. By the actual definition, maybe? Legally there is no way to prove it unless someone confesses. If the stockholders really care, then they should just show their displeasure, but they've let so much slide already WWE investors don't have much of my sympathy.
Financially speaking, Cornette could possibly be 10 million or so better off sticking with WWE, but how many millions does one man really need? Barring some disaster, he is set for life(and would have been already if he didn't start Smoky Mountain or made fewer mistakes with Smoky Mountain). Mentally speaking, he probably stepped back for OVW at the right time. Working a bullshit job for too long can make a man hate the people he works with, and that very phenomenon tanked Pro Wrestling NOAH. Cornette got to leave before his "friendship" with the McMahons wasn't irreparably tarnished.

Running to the side of a man so he can stiff arm you is so jobber. Multiple guys doing it in rapid succession is mark with a camera but he's giving us two hundred dollars each and doesn't know the difference so just do it "working". I've booked some bad matches in my day, but it's nice knowing that even after three years experience booking a national television show a guy can still do worse sometimes.

Demons are real, Hawk said before he died "Vince Mcmahon is a demon" they are out there and real, and in positions of power. My Sisters Dad was 2 x Tag Team Champ With Carlos Colone in WWWF late 70's early 80's. VINCE mcmahon SR Was a racist, Stu hart was putting too many of his kids in Stampede Wrestling, so my Sisters Dad bought the PR Territory ownership from Gorilla MOnsoon.
Vince Mcmahon Jr's Grand Father Owned Professional Negro League baseball teams (keyword plural) and took advantage there as well. This family has a Consistent history of taking advantage of people. This sets the doorway for demons to get in, but it's when you blackmail is how they get through that door and will stick with you for the rest of your life.

Jim said it about 15 years ago .. wrestling business died when the kayfabe got exposed. "Sports Entertainment" had no legs whatsoever. Once Vince is gone .. no Khan .. Tony or Nick will be able to stop the inevitable. It was good while it lasted. Gave us memories like Ric Flair, Midnight Express, Hogan, Undertaker, Goldberg, Steve Austin, Rock, Angle, Brock and many more.
