Some things to make this easier on new people: you don't actually have to locate the XV2 directory. All you have to do is open steam, head over to XV2 in your library, then you're gonna press the gear icon. after that, head to manage, and click browse local files. boom, you have it open. then you can just copy and paste the directory when it asks for it.

I would like to add something that SLO didn't cover in this video if you want to install more stages (both local, free battle AND training), go into xv2ins, under the XV2 Mods installer you'll find an option that says Tools. From there you can find slot editor stages and press the + symbol on the bottom left and you can add whatever stage you like. If you have all the stages unlocked and ran out of space, your new installed stages will go to the second page and so on (you can switch pages by clicking r1 or any equivalent of the button on a different controller). Hope this helps someone out there :)
I try to open xv2ins but it says class std:::basic_strind ect. If i press ok another pop up comes up and says failed on char '□'. I press ok again and another popup comes and says InitCharaList failed.

Apparently, there's some change in the coding between the previous version, and the new version right now, and that there is trojan coding in the program. Idk, that's what they're saying on the comments on the site though, so I haven't downloaded it yet. Gonna look into it some more honestly.
Did no one actually read the description before downloading? It specifically says in the description for the tools that the tool that bypasses the games anti-cheat is what triggers the flag. You just have to add an exception for it to your security.

JFC Y'all really need to start reading. It says right in the eternity tools description why your computer is flagging it as a virus. Theres no virus the flag is because of the tool used to bypass the games anti-cheat software, you just need to add an exception to your fire wall. Some of y'all need to chill it's literally just a game and you're getting these mods for free.
Did it on my laptop and scanned it to make sure and it had rmdir in so I didn't bother but I can bypass that. I mod GTA and this happens with mods sometimes. Not a mod manager which is weird.
found a fix this happened to me! go to your XV2PATCHER folder in your directory, click on the xv2patcher.ini and and under patches, change new_stages to false. I did this after clearing my dbxv2 data, so if it doesn't work, i'd backup and delete the data folder as well.

I did on digging around on my own and I noticed that when I remove “x input 1_3.dll” the game launched again but of course in order for the mods and such to appear I need the new DLL right?
Problem, the Individual mod installers (Like New Transformations) That use their own installer, don't recognize the game, like, I go to the bin folder and they don't recognize any valid game install there

I really appreciate this video for helping me set up my mods. However I have to say, this video has way too much yapping. And I really don't mean this in a rude way, but you repeat yourself too much, this video could have been far more condensed, I highly recommend making a script, and also consider using on screen writing for small pieces of extra information, such as having more files in your Bin. Still, the video did help so thank you.
I appreciate the feedback, but this is just how I do my videos. I do what I do to ensure / put emphasis on very important steps. I even have a whole layout with timestamps so that you can go to any point that you are looking for. "Too much yapping" got me laughing tho.

Very helpful I also avoided the virus detected thing by just turning off the protection I do turn it back on every once in a while bc I overthink a lot so I do have to put the patcher back in all the time lol
@@Bk2_Luis oh it’s fine I turned it back on and you can go to protection history and it gives you a restore threat option so you can have your mods back without having to download them again and no it’s not a virus or else I probably would’ve had one by now

found a fix this happened to me!

I’m not even sure if this is a mod thing I don’t think it is at least but when I try to go into my frieza race cac, anything frieza related in the story mode, or even the frieza spaceship, it all kicks me out of the game for some reason my game js doesn’t like anything frieza related at all if you know how to fix this I would really appreciate it
I really appreciate this video for helping me set up my mods. However I have to say, this video has way too much yapping. And I really don't mean this in a rude way, but you repeat yourself too much, this video could have been far more condensed, I highly recommend making a script, and also consider using on screen writing for small pieces of extra information, such as having more files in your Bin. Still, the video did help so thank you.
I appreciate the feedback, but this is just how I do my videos. I do what I do to ensure / put emphasis on very important steps. I even have a whole layout with timestamps so that you can go to any point that you are looking for. "Too much yapping" got me laughing tho.

Whenever i open XV2INS, it says DLC key 2 not found 0: -1, DLC key 2 not 0: yyyyyyyy 2 and a bunch of other stuff
Try copy and pasting all the things inside of the XV2INS folder into your main game directory

So as someone who downgraded the game and never updated to the current how do i know update to what’s needed for the patcher without updating too far like what version of the game is needed for eternity’s tools now ?
Very helpful I also avoided the virus detected thing by just turning off the protection I do turn it back on every once in a while bc I overthink a lot so I do have to put the patcher back in all the time lol
how is it going so far ? everyone i saying its a virus and its dangerous so i just want to see how your pc is holding up so far
@@Bk2_Luis oh it’s fine I turned it back on and you can go to protection history and it gives you a restore threat option so you can have your mods back without having to download them again and no it’s not a virus or else I probably would’ve had one by now
