Well if you think this is devil music, then you should know in their concept album "Beyond Hell" Gwar actually goes to hell, kick the devil's ass, and crap on his front porch after the devil is dead. So their basically good guys that just like killing.
GWAR stands for GOd what a racket. These guys are really smart and met at Virginia Commonwealth University. They were once nominated for a Grammy. Their live shows are amazing. Full of blood and guts and stage props.
Clint Logan everything accurate other than it doesn’t really stand for anything the mythos behind the band name is that the first they said when they woke up was gwarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhghh but than they shortened it to just gwar
The only 2 ways people in this world react to hearing GWAR for the first time😂😂🤟🏾 Edit: in the end even the other guy starts getting into it haha that’s awesome
Their message was satirical. They didn't believe what they sang about they were making fun of how we as humans love killing in one form or another. In the song "Go to Hell" they sing about going to hell and kicking Satan's ass and taking over.
I love it!🤣 One of my favorite things is watching the security at shows(brothas) Shows like Gwar or Grateful dead shows, etc, watching the brothas facial expressions 🤣😂🤣 And their reactions to these crazy white folks!! 🤣😂🤣
i was scared the first time i saw GWAR live, the crowd looked mean and fucked up, and then Oderus got on the mic and said, in a very menacing voice, "you ready to fuck shit up?!" i was worried when everyone started cheering, but then they started talking about how their new comic book was out, and i was like, huh, wtf? and then the music started, i was into punk, metal is not my thing, but their music was really enjoyable while watching the INSANE theatrical shit i saw that day, and the fans were all goofballs and it was a really chill show and funny seeing how the band interacted with their fans. it was actually such an intimate relationship between the artists and the fans like i've never seen before or since. oh, and i've been to a few other GWAR shows since, and got soaked from head to toe at every show, and i was trying to NOT get all wet and messy.
Gwar fans in general are and abundance of very fun loving, creative and to a large degree deep thinkers who are- believe it or not are friendly. While trying to not sound like what the band, primarily the lead of this song hates, my synopsis of the band is: A counter-culture group consisting of art school rejects who sometimes personify and exaggerate beyond overlooking the absurdity of society in a similar fashion to the artistic style Dadaism. An example of that would be the song "Have you seen me" ua-cam.com/video/M1e8XCE_oqg/v-deo.html which is a reference to the pictures of missing children that used to often be on milk cartons. Exemplifying both a public observation and private insight perspective on a sociopathic and reviled type of psychopath. Sometimes they are simply portraiting the human condition, such as a song like "I hate love songs" ua-cam.com/video/x4e6Ln_Mg-w/v-deo.html Other times they are shining a light on the grizzly reality behind glamorized lifestyles, an example of that would be "war party" ua-cam.com/video/vOfTLeoLM44/v-deo.html
1st - R.I.P. Dave and Cory. 2nd - NO ONE reacts to GWAR!!! I've enjoyed your reaction videos b4 , but you did GWAR, so I subscribed. 3rd - Try GWAR - Immortal Corrupter (They harmonize)
you found singer member call catfish of culet fish. and yes it has mind of his own. and some times will attack band members and crowd with it man juice
Love me some GWAR their older albums are awesome. Underrated band for 4sho. Try the Road behind, the album Scumdogs of the universe. React to some Primus.
this song is about politics. most GWAR songs are. Punk rock roots man haha. R.I.P. Dave and Corey. :( good vid though. GWAR is a whole learning experience.
All Slayer is perfect , but watch the Repentless video , if just to bask in the glory of prison life . Danny Trejo is in that video too. There's two parts to this video It's a story .......... Danny Trejo lives right here in the San Fernando valley where I live also. Pacoima...🙏
Whewww that's a scary one. Would rather see good ole STEVIE RAY 😉, at least get your good vibes back by doing TRIP LEE'S (MANOLO) ft LECRAE. Totally opposite energy in this great tune
I subscribed a long time ago and I have seen the journy you guys made, keep up the good work. When you wanna try some metal that is really not for snowflakes, try Infant Annihilator, for example the song "Soil the Stillborn" or some out of this world drumming from their drummer Aaron Kitcher the drum playthrough song "Cuntcrusher". Have fun, you're in for a surprise....rock on!!!
Yeah not subscribing you're much to bland as if food was cooked with no seasoning and kind of sound like if Cleveland from family guy was a guidance counselor
That thing bouncing between his legs is the Cuttlefish of Cthulu.
I think it's the second one, as the cops confiscated the first one. The new one is even more herpes riddled too!
@@709mash Tipper gore was holding the first cuttlefish for a while but the cops made her give it back.
🤘
Good band. RIP Dave Brockie (Oderus, lead vocals) and guitarist Cory Smoot (Flattus Maximus)
