At least it isn't that bad, considering the new 4 star characters/light come comes into standard banner after the version they debuted. Plus he will have more than enough free pulls through stardust, and the estimated rates of getting a 5 star in standard per 70-90 pulls.
The current hurdle is raising all of the new characters for standards tickets and team building, though he might have more than enough resources due to raising so few characters.
