You have just given me a great idea for an extended bicycle tour... out of Tumut to Yarrangobilly, Currango Homestead, Pockets, Coolamine, then on to Brindabella, Wee Jasper and back to Tumut. Is it possible (legal) to ride the trails to these huts by bicycle? I have previously toured the southern parts of Snowy Mountains (including Tin Mine Track and the Nine-Mile Pinch), in to Mount Jagungal, and from Canberra to Tumut via Wee Jasper.
Hey Peter! This sounds like a great trip, best option would be to plan your ideal route and then confirm with National Parks that it is doable by bicycle.
