Here's something interesting I thought about a while back (I think this is more of a coincidence, but it's still fun to think about): The way vampires can be killed (apart from hamon and the sun) in JoJo is somewhat similar to how you would execute hosts of the Baoh parasite. In Baoh the Visitor: Ikuro gets his powers from a parasite that lives in his head. The only way to kill the parasite is by first destroying the brain of the host, then incinerating the parasite. (This info is from Jonathan's research of the stone mask) In JoJo, a vampire's powers come from a transformation of the brain, and a way to kill a vampire is to destroy the brain. When Jonathan tried that to no avail, he then set the Joestar Manor ablaze to try and nullify Dio's healing factor. While it didn't outright kill him, the amount of damage he suffered throughout the mansion battle almost did.
@@homemovelha4173 Because a single bullet isn't enough to completely obliterate a brain? That's easy to figure out. Also it was in episode 3. And remember, Jotaro managed to get a strong hit on Dio's head a little bit after that and it managed to halt his regeneration. Also, you're kinda missing the point of my comment. It's supposed to draw similarities between JoJo and Araki's earlier manga
Those concept images for HFTF makes me wonder if Part 2 Joseph's inclusion in the game was gonna be a flashback sequence rather than being affected by Alessi, or these were illusions of the Pillar Men that Joseph saw while in reality he fought the Crusaders-

Absolute Murder Man is so funny for a wide pink robot with skirt made of tassels who yells “Chumimi” in a high pitched voice. They’re not wrong though.
I have an interesting one: all members of the part 8 Higashikata family have the word "king" in their stands' names, including WalKING heart, AwaKING 3 Leaves and Space TrucKING.
In your next Jojo fun fact video or a separate video you could go over family relations in the Joestar bloodline people don’t really thing about, like how Josuke and Holy are step siblings, or how Dio is technically Jolyne’s Great Great Great Great Uncle.
Castlevania: a series about a family of vampire hunters hunting down Dracula (coincidentally starting in 1986, around the same time first part of Jojo did release) has a few references to the series: In 1993 Jojo's CD Drama has been released. Voice actors for Jotaro and Dio later were casted as Richter Belmont and Dracula for the Japanese version. The english dub is infamously bad, so for the game's rerelease new dialogues have been recorded. New Dracula's voice is Patrick Seitz- English voice actor of Dio Symphony of the Night has a Stone mask- one of the Items Alucard can wear. It's description says "Ancient ceremonial stone mask" referencing the origin of the mask in Jojo series. It can be found in the Long Library, which also might be a reference to Phantom Blood and it being hanged on the wall of the Joestar's Mansion's Library. The mask has a brief appearance in the anime aswell Castlevania: Rondo of Blood has a unlockable playable charachter "Maria Renard". One of her abilities is Guardian Knuckle- a rapidly punching ghost. Other references to Stand rushed are seen in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Some upon getting Cagnazzo's soul can summon a rapidly punching demon from behind his back. It also screams "ora ora ora" just like many stands do In Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Juste Belmont can obtain multiple subweapons- one of which is this game's exclusive Sacred Fist- when using it Juste rapidly punches enemies while screaming "Ora ora ora" Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow features boss Zephyr. His fight consists of his stopping time quoting Dio's phrase "Toki wo Tomare!". When time is stopped he throws knives around. There is a clock tower in the background which can be a reference to Kakyoin fight. When defeated, Soma get's Zephyr's soul that lets him stop time When time is stopped in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and Dawn of Sorrow, the color palettes of the game are inverted One of weapons Soma Cruz can use in Aria of Sorrow is Kaiser Knuckle- the way it rapidly punches, and it's animation resembles a stand rush Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow's main antagonist Graham Jones coincidentally looks quite similar to Kira Yoshikage disguised as Kosaku Kawajiri in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Dracula can perform soul steal by Grabbing Shanoa and stealing her HP to heal himself in a similar fashion Dio absorbs blood through his fingers
Some other tidbits of interest with Skullgirls and Jojo: -When defeating a character using a blockbuster move (the game's super moves) a portrait of the character in pain flashes by. This is a reference to a similar thing that happens in Heritage for the Future when characters are defeated with super moves -Big Band and Beowulf's Japanese VAs may sound familiar! Big Band is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita the voice of Joseph Joestar, and Beowulf Daisuke Ono the voice of Jotaro
a topic that I would like to see is the Jojo villains, I feel like there is an amount of misinformation around them, and their motivation, the fact I've seen people actually say that funny valentine is morally better then johnny is kind concerning ngl
Big Band also has a move where he stops time and then makes a stand rush While time is stopped you can actually play songs, and there's a lot of jojo song videos with big band out there
I really want to see that stage show cause it just seem like an interesting and surreal experience. I've known that Stage Shows were at least a common things in Japan given how all of the Big 3 of Toku shows will gave at least 1 stage show after they end so seeing one for an Araki work is something I would like to see
At the time stamp 0:57 the interview listed is interesting because the interviewer is Kazuma Kaneko who was the lead artist for the Megami Tensei franchise. Why is this important, a lot of people compare Persona to JoJo, Kaneko was the main character and Persona designer for the original persona trilogy on ps1 and often helped with developing the concept of persona as a series. Just wanted to point that out, plus Kaneko and Araki are friends in real life too (though that could’ve changed but idk). Hey if you make another fun fact video you could add this in

Also, you're kinda missing the point of my comment. It's supposed to draw similarities between JoJo and Araki's earlier manga
8:15 Why is Absolute Murder Man so funny to me
Probably because it's just outrageously hilarious
yoooo, that Gohan / Cell by Araki needs to be framed on my wall
I absolutely love the phrase "Absolute Murder Man"
Americans when someone they idolize, prefers one fast food chain over another
😓🔫
Those concept images for HFTF makes me wonder if Part 2 Joseph's inclusion in the game was gonna be a flashback sequence rather than being affected by Alessi, or these were illusions of the Pillar Men that Joseph saw while in reality he fought the Crusaders-
ooooookayyy thanks youtube! how could you not recommend this to me until 4 weeks later?!?!
woah! never seen Araki's Kenshiro artwork. very cool. and Gohan and Cell! fantastic. all of them.
Yes! I was looking forward to another fun fact video! They are all so great and insightful, keep it up!
Absolute Murder Man is so funny for a wide pink robot with skirt made of tassels who yells “Chumimi” in a high pitched voice. They’re not wrong though.
2:18 NOOOOOOOO
Someone get him quality American food
Bro there is no american quality food
Actually america has no real quality food, not like the rest of other countries
Imagine being the poor sap who gets matched up against the Stand "Absolute Murder Man".
"absolute murder man" is my new name for tusk act 4, that is PERFECT
I have an interesting one: all members of the part 8 Higashikata family have the word "king" in their stands' names, including WalKING heart, AwaKING 3 Leaves and Space TrucKING.
this fact is indeed fun! can't wait for fun fact 5
In your next Jojo fun fact video or a separate video you could go over family relations in the Joestar bloodline people don’t really thing about, like how Josuke and Holy are step siblings, or how Dio is technically Jolyne’s Great Great Great Great Uncle.
The fact that enemy stand users were made because he was sus of the people on Egypt is WILD
"Absolute Murder Man" better catch on outside of Japan after this.
Castlevania: a series about a family of vampire hunters hunting down Dracula (coincidentally starting in 1986, around the same time first part of Jojo did release) has a few references to the series:
In 1993 Jojo's CD Drama has been released. Voice actors for Jotaro and Dio later were casted as Richter Belmont and Dracula for the Japanese version.
The english dub is infamously bad, so for the game's rerelease new dialogues have been recorded. New Dracula's voice is Patrick Seitz- English voice actor of Dio
Symphony of the Night has a Stone mask- one of the Items Alucard can wear. It's description says "Ancient ceremonial stone mask" referencing the origin of the mask in Jojo series. It can be found in the Long Library, which also might be a reference to Phantom Blood and it being hanged on the wall of the Joestar's Mansion's Library. The mask has a brief appearance in the anime aswell
Castlevania: Rondo of Blood has a unlockable playable charachter "Maria Renard". One of her abilities is Guardian Knuckle- a rapidly punching ghost.
Other references to Stand rushed are seen in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Some upon getting Cagnazzo's soul can summon a rapidly punching demon from behind his back. It also screams "ora ora ora" just like many stands do
In Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Juste Belmont can obtain multiple subweapons- one of which is this game's exclusive Sacred Fist- when using it Juste rapidly punches enemies while screaming "Ora ora ora"
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow features boss Zephyr. His fight consists of his stopping time quoting Dio's phrase "Toki wo Tomare!". When time is stopped he throws knives around. There is a clock tower in the background which can be a reference to Kakyoin fight. When defeated, Soma get's Zephyr's soul that lets him stop time
When time is stopped in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and Dawn of Sorrow, the color palettes of the game are inverted
One of weapons Soma Cruz can use in Aria of Sorrow is Kaiser Knuckle- the way it rapidly punches, and it's animation resembles a stand rush
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow's main antagonist Graham Jones coincidentally looks quite similar to Kira Yoshikage disguised as Kosaku Kawajiri
in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Dracula can perform soul steal by Grabbing Shanoa and stealing her HP to heal himself in a similar fashion Dio absorbs blood through his fingers
arakis creativity and effort is on a whole nother level
Some other tidbits of interest with Skullgirls and Jojo:
-When defeating a character using a blockbuster move (the game's super moves) a portrait of the character in pain flashes by. This is a reference to a similar thing that happens in Heritage for the Future when characters are defeated with super moves
-Big Band and Beowulf's Japanese VAs may sound familiar! Big Band is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita the voice of Joseph Joestar, and Beowulf Daisuke Ono the voice of Jotaro
That Sheer Heart Attack burger is geniously designed and named
Great content... This should have been put into some Jojo wikias.
araki is such a cultured guy, more mangakas should be like him more and be able to explore outside japan.
Did he seriously draw both Gohan and Super Perfect Cell?! Looks like Dio Brando and Koichi Hirose have competition!
kid dio fighting act 4 echoes in the koichi games is something I need to see.
Just wanted to say Mr Beat that your name logo is so awesome! And keep up the good work!
a topic that I would like to see is the Jojo villains, I feel like there is an amount of misinformation around them, and their motivation, the fact I've seen people actually say that funny valentine is morally better then johnny is kind concerning ngl
congratulations on 250k!!!!!
God id love to go to one of those Jojo escape room attractions, they look so engaging.
I need to have a Sheer Heart Attack burger once in my life
HAMON BEAT IS BACK, YAY
Big Band also has a move where he stops time and then makes a stand rush
While time is stopped you can actually play songs, and there's a lot of jojo song videos with big band out there
ah yes my favourite stand, "Absolute murder man"
Another fact: Souichi, the antagonist was wearing a DIO themed helmet in the arc of tower of karma i remember 6:42
Me whenever I see a jojo video from this boy: HAMOOON BEAT YEAH
Araki realized that suspicious people are stand users.
Facts fr man
I need a print of Araki's redraw of Dragon Ball #33 so badly
7:47 Brother I wasn't ready for super Stylish perfect Cell
TA4 being called Absolute Murder Man has had me laughing for the last 10 minutes😂.
I really want to see that stage show cause it just seem like an interesting and surreal experience. I've known that Stage Shows were at least a common things in Japan given how all of the Big 3 of Toku shows will gave at least 1 stage show after they end so seeing one for an Araki work is something I would like to see
at 5:08 Araki seems to have multiple copies of multiple Part 8 volumes, wonder why...
4:17 I didn’t really think of this before but dark blue moon looks really damn cool. Like it could be a dc supervillain cool
Hey if you make another fun fact video you could add this in
Everyone's talking about Burger King, I get that, but
Tusk being called *Absolute Murder Man* is just so perfect I can't not mention it.
