Ahhh Gigi's nursery is so beautiful! May I recommend that you purchase closet organizer tabs that help you sort the babies various sizes? They are hard plastic discs that you hang up on the rod and then you group the sizes accordingly. I've been watching your channel for several years now & have always appreciated your esthetic and can't wait for the home decor reveal!

Very lovely Elle. Elegant and chic. Love the lights you chose to go with the wall paper. It's always wonderful having a man that can do projects and fix things. It can be fun making a "honey do list" and many guys like to show love by being a handy guy being able to fix and build things.

I can’t tell you enough how wonderful your look with the love in your eyes in anticipation for Babi G. Your glowing! I wish I could show you a picture of me the day I went into labor with my girl. I was wearing a dress like the one your wearing in this video. I love how your mom saved so many special items from your childhood. I have done the same for my children. My girl is 20 now ( time flies) and my son will be 40 this year. Much MUCH LOVE going your way. I can’t wait to meet her. The wall paper is beautiful! The room is full of a beautiful vision. I used Peter rabbit for my daughter/ beautiful hues of blue 🙋🏻♀️🤗🤗🤗🎄
I love that you were able to repurpose the cabinet for the change table! I had 3 changing "stations" . We have a 2 story home so one in his own bedroom (rarely used) one in our master bedroom - where he slept until he was about 4 (6 mos with me and then 3 1/2 years in his own crib but in our room) and one in the family room! I had a bin of sleepers in each changing station ...and yup, diaper pails are a great thing!!

Yes, the diaper pail is a must! I’m not sure if you have these items already but I highly recommend the lovetodream swaddle as they seem to Houdini there way out of the others and prefer having their hands toward their face, or at least my little one did. Also, multiple bassinet sheets 3-4, for accidents in the night 😅. Absolutely love the decor and Cinderella blue ❤

I love the nursery! So much thought into it for sure. I had a boy and a girl and can tell you it was way more fun preparing for the girl being the girlie girlie I am.😆 You will love it Elle. I hope you have a safe and wonderful delivery and I can't wait to see the baby. The colors in the nursery are so calming with the blue and the seagulls. As far as the changing table I had one but honestly didn't use it that much. You will use the rocker though alot I'm sure. My mother saved for me things I had as a little girl too and I thought it was very special.

Beautiful room!!! Yes that trash can is great as it blocks the smell. That’s what my daughter uses for my grandkids. You may need to update your changing table by adding a bar because as the kids gets older, they will move and wiggle more. You will need space for the wipes, just based on my experience of having 3 kids myself and now 2 grandkids. But you’ll be able to discover that as you go along in your motherhood. Again congratulations to you and your hubby! You both did an excellent job. That nursery is gorgeous!!! The wall paper is the sweetest and offers a great deal of calmness to the eyes. And your side chair is perfect. You will want to be able to rock her to sleep after she feeds. It’s really a great decision you both invested in that chair which is so important for those many late nights and middle of the night feeding. Happy Holidays! I’m so happy for you all and for your mom! She will love being a grandma as I do💖🎄

I really like the wallpaper :) when I got my daughter I did not want anything pink. It felt overwhelming for my taste. Eventually got used to the pink and almost her clothes now are pink :) Now I am expecting a boy and all those neutral things from when she was a newborn will come very handy for him as well :)

Hi Elle, here we are a day and a bit away from Christmas Day, I was thinking about you and had to come back to your channel to see If there had been any updates and as I write that I am thinking I should also check your IG which I will do! One thought I wanted to share (I actually thought I left this comment before and I looked for it and don't see it - so it's likely like many comments I 'think' I left...written out and fell asleep and never hit the "send" , lol.
So, that thought. I also invested in a beautiful recliner/rocker. I had it in my son's nursery and I had a nice wing back style chair in my own room. On about day 3 of being home with a new born I had my son swapping those chairs. Since our son slept with us in our room, it didn't make much sense to have to get up and take him and walk down the hall to his room to sit in the nicer more comfy chair. Just thought I'd share this as I think you may end up feeling the same way :)

Your nursery is beautiful! My daughter is almost 3 months old and hers is still a mess 😂 I can’t bear the thought of her sleeping away from me though
Mine is the same age and we're not even close to using the nursery lol
My son didn't sleep in his own room until he was four, lol. He slept with me until 6 mos and then in his own crib in our bedroom until he was 4, and he also had a crib in his own room which he occasionally napped in...NO shame in doing whatever is right for you and your baby :)
My son is five and still doesn’t sleep in his own room 🙈. He sleeps on a mattress on our floor. Creating his nursery was one of my favorite things and we used it for nursing and naps and playing, but I am still not comfortable with him on the opposite side of the house from us. We recently updated his room and he has a big boy bed so I’m certain that he will soon be sleeping there, but I like having him close for now.
Neither can I at this stage, but I think it will be good for nap time, or “worst” case scenario, I think it could pivot into a beautiful office!
