I discovered GhostRunner very recently thanks to a friend, so I decided to check out speed runs and my god I have never seen this game look so satisfying, and you're also a super chill super cool dude, hope you get more subs, you deserve em' Keep at it man you're great!
I love watching speedruns were the character is just zooming along and is getting through levels extremely fast but then when the cutscenes activate they are really slow in comparison lmao
@@beri4138 It messed up my perfect deathless runs so many times. Everytime when I'm in air, even though the grappling is in range and I smash my mash mouse click, I simply fall to death and the same goes when I try to slash enemies, it doesn't work.
Quick question, I'm very interested in learning this game, currently working on my movement tech before starting to route it! At points like 5:54 it looks like you're almost doing a double jump in mid air to gain extra distance, how are you able to do that? I don't see any key being pressed so I'm a bit confused, is that a combination of letting go of jump and flicking your mouse? Insane run btw, and thanks for the help c:

Nope patches haven't changed movemnt yet. Press dash and crouch at literally the same time then hit jump after. Also you can look down at the ledge a little bit just to make sure you're not starting too early or late.

@@BladeLMAO See how many decibels get your mic when you type on your keyboard and when you speak, then apply the noise gate filter on your mic in OBS (clic on the gear in the audio mixer) and do your setup, it's awesome ;)
is this the original game or a modified version? there are some features you used that won't work with me in certain levels, specifically early cyborg levels.
yo why has nobody released a video on the advanced mobility mechanics. i figured out that crouch jumping was slightly faster but i had no idea you could launch yourself off ledges like that and keep the momentum. i don't intend to speedrun the game but it's fun to get good at advanved mechanics that are birthed by overlooked exploits in games. they're an exploit nevertheless but they require execution and keeping the momentum adds another layer of depth to the gameplay.

@@Dhamphyre ?????? No progress against hel is saved when you die. The fight always starts from the beginning every time you die. Beating hel is always 0 deaths. If you die during the fight, it restarts, until you beat the whole thing without dying. Are you thick in the head?
@@beri4138 slow your roll with the insults, champ. i’m not saying you’re incorrect here, but you’re also not understanding what i’m saying (even though my reply to you was pretty explicit with what i’m talking about). let me walk you through this. “in her own image” starts on one of the train cars. you hit the button to open the door, the cinematic starts, and it takes you to the boss. if you die to hel, the game takes you back to the start of the fight-NOT all the way back to the start of the level on the train. you’re correct that your progress against the boss itself is not saved, since there are no checkpoints during the fight. but your progress in the LEVEL is. again, my last reply made it very clear that im talking about the level overall, not just the boss fight. you can die to hel on 600 different tries and still beat the level as long as you do it once perfectly. but the level complete screen is still going to say that you died 600 times. if youre still confused about this, i can make a video and show you what im talking about. oh, and maybe reconsider calling other people thick in the head when you’re the one who’s failing to grasp a concept.

I use livesplit for the timer, in the splitter there's an auto splitter when you select the game ghostrunner in edit splits.

What happened there with the TOM fight where you only had to cut one of the cables?
He cut the second one first, so it triggered the last stage of the boss fight with out having to do the second phase.
