Spring Carp Fishing | Pen Y Ffrith Fishery 48hr Session | Cabin Lake Fishing

Today, I find myself at Pen-y-Ffrith Carp Fishery in North Wales, specifically on Peg 6 in one of the larger cabins. I’m here for a 48-hour session, hoping to encounter some impressive fish-maybe even a 20-pounder or a 30-pounder. They have also recently stocked a whopping 40-pound specimen here. Before we dive into the details, let me show you around my peg and share my setup.
Bait and Rigs:
Supercharged Hardened Hooker Bottom Bait (14mm Fruit and Nut): On one rod, I’ve opted for this flavour. Pop-ups Don’t seem to be highly effective here, so I’m giving this a shot.
OG Fish Supercharged Hardened Hooker (14mm): The opposite flavour is on my second rod. These fishy boilies are known to perform well.
Match-the-Hatch OG Fish Wafter: For my third rod (the “roaming rod”), I’ve chosen this wafter. It won’t be as in-your-face as a popup, but fish-flavoured boilies are also successful at this fishery.
Swim Strategy:
I’m following the “little and often” approach. Instead of bombarding the swim with excessive bait, I’m gradually introducing it to avoid spooking the fish.
To get them grubbing, I’ve mixed in the OG fruit and nut crumbed boilies along with the Parker Bait mini mix.

Summer Prices.
Weekends Prices
Main huts( 1, 2 and 6) 350 for 48 hours for two anglers over the weekends.
Single Huts (3,4,5) 120 per person for 48 over the weekends.
Good ideas for Groups!!
For 4 anglers from Friday 7ami till Sunday 5 30pm pegs 1 and 6 are 125 per person. This is only for pegs 1 and 6. They are big enough for 4 anglers .
Mid week Prices for Single Huts from Sunday night till Thursday are 100 per person for 48

He can go over prices as the smaller cabins and bigger ones are different prices and different again if you book in the week or weekend but he can go through it all with you
