Actually, you predicted the future. Now, with the "resort fees" a hotel will advertise a room on Expedia for $100, but in the fine print there are additional mandatory resort fees of $75 per day. You guys gave the hotels the idea. :/
Now there is a sustainability fee, too!
Now all hotels on the Las Vegas strip charge for self parking too! :0(

Idk, but possibly the reason their reactions were a little flat is because they had probably had a long journey, were tired and hungry, and just wanted to get to their rooms quickly to freshen up, maybe have a nap then go out for a meal. Peter Funt kept up the deadpan act just long enough to tick them off, but I’d love to have seen the others’ reactions to the punchline. Candid Camera was a big favourite with my family, and in the UK, we had Peter Dulay and Jonathan Routh recreating some of the American setups. Happy days indeed! Lovely to see these episodes again on YT!! Thank you 🙏🏻👍🏻💖!!!

Sometimes when life has been extra challenging, it's really been helpful to sit back and watch these programs with my family and just have a good old-fashioned laugh! Nobody is amused when they prank at hotels, the vegas one with the noisy slot machines in the rooms, the huge mini bar one, the one with the elevator that doesn't work etc.

@@islandgal500 I am gay, I can detect if a guy is gay or not by his face. I also improved my skill to detect lesbians since many lebsians are in our locals or disco. I am more than sure they are lesbian. Also, in business trip everybody has a single room, the company pays not the emplyees. Honestly I didn't like in the video the way they react when he says it is candid camera. They are too serious and I think unfriendly

Candid Camera could have possibly have mentioned a small surcharge just above the advertised price but automatically included within the total rental price. This surcharge would be to have the electric and cable TV services turned on.
Also, they could have had an automatic wake-up call set up to go off at 6:00 a.m. It would cost only $10 to deactivate the process.
The auto wake up service sounds great, and a perfect opportunity for Peter to say, "It's for your convenience."

Unfortunately, these extra fees are a reality now. Las Vegas has these ludicrous "resort fees" and are a total rip off for the traveler.
